Elephant Man Civilization

Through the mountain forest, Shen Jun and twelve Dark Templars moved swiftly. Numerous Alien Beasts lurked all around, yet they turned a blind eye to Shen Jun and the Protoss. Shen Jun and the Protoss stepped through the gaps between them.

These low-intelligence Alien Beasts were merely Vanguard cannon fodder for the Beast Bodies. In the worldview of the Super God Academy, Beast Bodies that evolved to a certain point had two evolutionary paths. One was like the Taotie and Sun Wukong, whose lifestyles and physiques leaned toward humans and who mainly relied on technology.

The other was like Crocodile God Soton, retaining more of its beastly nature and looking more like a wild animal, relying primarily on brute force.

In the Super God Universe, Beast Bodies generally chose the first evolutionary path. Thus, unless they became gods, Beast Bodies that pursued physical evolution often became slaves to intelligent Beast Bodies.

Just as Shen Jun saw before him, the Beast Bodies had excavated a mine from the mineral vein. A road extended from the mine, and countless Alien Beasts transported minerals along it. They were terribly inefficient, carrying loads only on their backs. An Alien Beast could carry at most a few hundred pounds of Crystal Mineral, while a truck of the same size could haul a ton.

Two squads of Beast Body soldiers stood on either side of the road. They had elephant heads and human bodies, wore clothes made from tiger pelts, and had countless iron sheets embedded in their clothing for protection. Each held a stone spear that looked quite sharply polished.

The Trigonians.

They taught the Elephant Man Civilization how to make fire, build houses, make clothing, and smelt iron...

Although the Trigonians had no need for such things themselves, that did not prevent them from understanding such primitive technology.

It was obvious. Shen Jun concluded that the Trigonians intended to use Giant Elephant Star as a colony, while the Elephant Man Civilization was naturally harmless free labor. Shen Jun did not even need to look to know that all the excavated Crystal Mineral would be supplied to the Trigonians. The Elephant Men would not get to use even a milligram.

Shen Jun led his team near the mine entrance. The defenses here were strong. Five hundred regular Elephant Man soldiers guarded the area, while two thousand monitored the Alien Beasts on the road. There might be even more troops inside the mine.

Shen Jun quietly compared the combat strength of both sides. The Elephant Men generally stood four meters tall and were more powerfully built, but that did not mean the Zealot Legion was weaker than them. Moreover, there was an enormous gap between their equipment.

If they forced their way in, the Templars could slaughter these Elephant Men as easily as cutting vegetables. But the countless Alien Beasts could not be ignored.

It was the fleet of the angels, the universe's strongest civilization.

Yet facing the angel fleet from afar was not an equally massive fleet, but countless Trigonians of varying sizes. Some were as large as space battleships, while others were the size of ordinary people. Their numbers far exceeded those of the angel fleet.

Separated by the distance of an entire star system, both sides maintained a delicate balance.

At that moment, the Trigonian formation shifted. Nearly half of the Trigonians broke away from the force and departed in another direction.

On Tian Ren, the angels' most advanced flagship, Heavenly Blade King Keisha sat upon her throne. The Trigonians' unusual movement caught her attention.

"He Xi, what is going on with the Trigonians? Letting part of their forces leave on the verge of battle—is this them looking down on us angels?"

He Xi, who was monitoring the entire battlefield from the angels' rear, received Keisha's communication and immediately shifted the surveillance image to the small group of departing Trigonians.
