And so, Chu Xin left Jindu on a plane with Ai Xing. Husky did not come out to cause trouble along the way, and they finally landed somewhere to the south.
Looking around after they landed, Chu Xin shook his head helplessly. Isn't this just Taiwan? I thought we were going somewhere else.
After they got off the plane, Ai Xing led Chu Xin to a car. Someone had already been waiting there for them.
Once they were seated, the person in the front passenger seat suddenly turned to look at Ai Xing.
"Welcome home, Senior Ai Xing."
Only when the person turned around did Chu Xin realize that the passenger was a girl. She was fairly young and looked about his age.
The girl welcomed Ai Xing warmly, but he did not appreciate it. He rolled his eyes behind his sunglasses and turned to look at the scenery outside.
"Heh, those old men probably wish I'd die out there so I wouldn't come back and cause them trouble. I honestly don't want to come back to Dragon Tamer Island at all!"
This was the first time Chu Xin had learned that Ai Xing, the Dragon Tamer of the Elite Four, held such a deep grudge against Dragon Tamer Island.
An awkward smile hung on the girl's face. She had not expected Ai Xing to show so little regard for Dragon Tamer Island even in front of an outsider.
Ai Xing ignored the girl in front and spoke as he watched the scenery outside.
"Where are those old fossils? Are they still holed up in Dragon Valley?"
The girl seemed to sense how irritable Ai Xing was. Unsure whether she should answer, she looked at him hesitantly.
"If I ask you something, answer. Don't sit there like you can't speak."
