A day later, Aier returned safely from Dragon Valley. After spending so many days there, Aier lay down weakly to rest as soon as they came out, while Ai Xing completed his mission and left Dragon Tamer Island without incident.
Ai Xing had originally planned to take Chu Xin with him, but Chu Xin declined his invitation to travel together. He wanted to stay in Dragon Valley a while longer so Luo Luo could finish studying it. Researching Dragon Valley's magnetic field proved even more time-consuming than he had expected, however. Chu Xin spent a full two months on Dragon Tamer Island before Luo Luo finished analyzing the valley's magnetic field, and only then did he bid the island farewell.
Chu Xin could also see that Ai Xing and Aier had serious disagreements over the Dragon Tamer Family, but none of that had anything to do with him. His most important priority now was getting stronger.
Soon, Chu Xin returned to Jindu Academy. Looking at the somewhat unfamiliar academy, he sighed helplessly. To be honest, he had barely attended any classes there. All that effort getting admitted felt like a bit of a waste!
