Chu Xin had never expected Zhuo Yue to actually plan on living in the Training Room. These sleeping bags were for them!
It sounded a little ridiculous, but given that Zhuo Yue was a Fighting-type Trainer, it made perfect sense.
Everyone knew that a Trainer's personality influenced their Pokémon. Without realizing it, Pokémon would gradually pick up their Trainer's personality and become more and more like them.
A Trainer's personality therefore affected their Pokémon's growth to some extent. This was particularly apparent in Fighting-type Pokémon. Some research institutes had even studied the phenomenon and confirmed that Pokémon Trainers' personalities did indeed influence those of their Pokémon, with Fighting-type Trainers having the strongest influence.
Generally, Trainers who were stubborn, cheerful, and passionate had a greater influence on Fighting-type Pokémon. After all, Pokémon who were more enthusiastic in battle had a stronger fighting spirit. Thinking back to Zhuo Yue's giant-like build, Chu Xin felt that even bodybuilding champions had smaller muscles than he did. There was no way to build muscles like those without serious exercise. Clearly, Zhuo Yue was also someone who held himself to punishing standards of self-discipline, and Fighting-type Pokémon influenced by someone like him were bound to be strong.
A whole string of illogical associations ran through Chu Xin's mind. Although he had no idea how Zhuo Yue would place in this Academy Tournament, he greatly respected the effort Zhuo Yue was putting into it. After all, that kind of dedication was rare even in anime.
But looking down at the sleeping bags in his arms, he felt there were a few too many. Even if Zhuo Yue used a new one every day, surely he would not need this many?
"Zhuo Xing, aren't there a few too many sleeping bags here? Zhuo Yue shouldn't need this many
