Electrike's Secret Move was extraordinarily powerful. Its aura alone had defeated Nidorino, while Carbink and Slowking were still struggling to hold out in the Electric Terrain it had created. They had lasted more than ten minutes by now. Nidorino had long since regained consciousness, but embarrassed by its defeat, it had hurried back into its Poké Ball and refused to come out.
Without Nidorino around, Chu Xin found the scene a little boring, so he called out Kaka and Xiao Wu to watch Carbink and Slowking's trial with him.
Xiao Wu lay flat on the floor, popped a Pokéblock into its mouth, and took a couple of bites before picking up the Energy Soda beside it for a sip. Watching other Pokémon suffer really was rather enjoyable. Even its appetite had improved.
Kaka was no better. He put sunflower seeds into his mouth one by one, expertly spitting out the shells. Every shell landed squarely in the trash can beside him, almost like Bullet Seed.
Not that anyone could blame Kaka. Who didn't enjoy watching a little drama? By now, Carbink and Slowking were both on the verge of collapse. Electrike only needed to increase the electricity a little to defeat them outright. But beating them wasn't difficult; Xiao Wu and Kaka could both do it, and much faster than Electrike.
What Kaka wanted to see most was which would fall first: Slowking or Carbink.
Dragonite glanced at Kaka munching sunflower seeds beside it and curled its lip before popping another Pokéblock into its mouth. How could sunflower seeds possibly taste better than Pokéblocks? Besides, these were the newest variety and a tremendous help with training. Xiao Wu treasured them.
