An elder in the family was a treasure in the home.
If they brought Grandma back with them, someone would be there to chat with her whenever Yang Tian slipped out. Their home would feel more like a complete family, with both old and young.
At last, they coaxed the old woman into agreeing.
Several days later.
Yang Tian and Jiaoxin supported the old woman on either side as they walked out of the house. She still looked back reluctantly at the little house. After all, she had lived there for almost her entire life.
Having to leave all at once, she could not bear to part with it.
Seeing her reluctance, Yang Tian laughed. "Haha, Grandma, how about I move this home over there?"
The old woman froze, then asked instinctively, "Can you?"
Yang Tian nodded. "Grandma, even if you wanted the stars in the sky, I could pluck them down for you."
"Haha, I don't want any stars. If you can, bring this home along. When I miss it, looking at it will bring back so many memories."
"It'll remind me of your father when he was little, and your grandfather."
"I'm not trying to pressure you, but I want to hold a great-grandchild soon too. Otherwise, who knows how many years I'll have left?"
"..."
Then the old woman began fussing again.
Yang Tian smiled wryly and glanced at Jiaoxin.
She playfully stuck out her little tongue.
Even when she gave Yang Tian the opportunity, he had no such thoughts. She wanted to see what having a baby felt like, and whether it would hurt a lot.
Grandmother had also said that she would count as grown up once she had a child.
Finally, Yang Tian acted, casting a spell that could move mountains and fill seas.
