A violent gust swept toward Kaze and Huru, carrying dust and flying leaves. Sprinting at full speed, Kaze had no time to dodge and could only swing her sword to forcibly cleave through the oncoming gale.
Before the gale died down, dazzling lightning began to flash. The light released by what appeared to be a massive Lightning Release was especially glaring in the night, stabbing at Kaze's and Huru's eyes until they could not keep them open.

Unable to see Xue Ge's position, Kaze was halfway through speaking when she heard a piercing blast directly ahead, unmistakably the sound of Lightning Release being unleashed.

The result was unexpected. She had thought the imposing Lightning Release would be evenly matched against Crescent Moon Beheading, but instead, it collapsed on contact and was swiftly swept away by the sword energy.
