After the medical team rushed Ameno to the hospital for emergency treatment, the matches had to continue.
The opponents in the fifth match were Shisui Uchiha and Han.
"I'll be right back~" Shisui told Xue Ge and Kakashi with a smile, stretching as he hopped lightly down from the stands.
Watching Shisui's unhurried figure, Xue Ge and Kakashi leaned their heads together.
"Hey, Xue Ge, how do you think Shisui will beat him?"
"His opponent's Han. Never heard of him."
"He's probably a taijutsu specialist. Shisui said he'd be right back, so he won't drag this out. Genjutsu, then?"
"Is that necessary?"
"We're both pretty familiar with the genjutsu he knows anyway. Keeping them hidden wouldn't pose much of a threat to us, so he might as well use them to save time. Seems reasonable to me."
"Which ones, then?"
"How should I know? We'll know once we see Han's reaction. Poor guy, a taijutsu ninja up against an Uchiha who specializes in genjutsu."
"I'm a taijutsu ninja too."
"You? You're an all-rounder. You don't count."
Shisui and Han walked to the center of the arena and formed the Seal of Confrontation toward each other.
His face covered, Han narrowed his eyes at the black-haired boy before him.
A member of the Uchiha Clan?
Han pondered this. He had heard of the Uchiha Clan's formidable reputation and knew they excelled at Fire Release and possessed the kekkei genkai known as the Sharingan.
But he had never actually fought a member of the Uchiha Clan, so he did not know what he would face.
"Nice to meet you. My name is Shisui Uchiha," Shisui told Han with a smile.
"-Han." Han had little to say to someone he did not know.
Shisui blinked, then said after a moment, "Then-shall we begin?"
