After awakening memories of his past life and a Naruto-game system, Uchiha Naruto discovered that supernatural threats existed in modern Tokyo. In the hospital, he saw a monster possessing an old man and fled as it came after him.
Naruto burned the tentacled monster that had possessed an old man, then strengthened his Fire Release as he prepared to face the evil spirit targeting him. Elsewhere, police officer Yuuji Kanbara investigated the murder scene in room 201, where monk Chiriku intervened to contain a dangerous presence behind the door.
Disguised as the monk Chiriku, Uchiha Naruto entered Room 201 to confront Miyui Ogura’s vengeful spirit. His fireballs weakened her, but she remained in the apartment, leaving him to prepare to purify it further.
Uchiha Naruto burned Room 201 to weaken and destroy the evil spirit, then Master Chiriku extinguished the spreading fire with supernatural power. Chiriku vanished, leaving Yuuji Kanbara stunned by what he had witnessed.
After returning home from the hospital, Uchiha Naruto reunited with his distant father, Uchiha Senmon, before reviewing the system and deciding to avoid supernatural threats until he grew stronger. He spent his ten Ninja Jewels to raise his Sharingan to level 2, awakening two tomoe.
Uchiha Naruto used the Training Ground to practice ninjutsu and set up idle skill training before starting his first day at Jinguji Private High School. He made a strong impression on his classmates and befriended Tanaka Hikaru, while insisting that dating was not a priority.
Uchiha Naruto struggled to balance his ninja training with school, then saw footage of a fire mysteriously retreating into a building. At the scene, Uchiha Senmon investigated the supernatural incident and ordered a search for the monk said to wield magical fire.
Uchiha Naruto used his Two-Tomoe Sharingan to copy a chef’s Katsuramuki technique during Home Economics and impressed the class with his knife skills. After earning an A+ with Tanaka Hikaru, Naruto was invited to try the Kyudo Club.
Uchiha Naruto visited Jinguji High School’s kyudo club with Tanaka Hikaru to consider a club required by the school. After Tanaka demonstrated his archery and mistakenly hit another archer’s target, he offered Naruto his bow and protective gear to try.
Uchiha Naruto tried kyudo at the club, where Yasero Saki taught him the basics and he missed his first shot. After he claimed that correct form would make hitting easy for him, Saki grew offended and kept him at a distance, leaving him to watch the demonstration.
Uchiha Naruto amazed Yasero Saki with a flawless bull's-eye and Yugaeri, prompting her to urge him to join the Kyudo Club. He refused, intending to find an easier club instead, and left the dojo with Tanaka Hikaru still teasing him about Yasero.
Uchiha Naruto continued exploring school clubs and using his Sharingan to copy athletic skills, but focused on quietly growing stronger amid Tokyo’s hidden supernatural dangers. While eating at an izakaya, he saw a wanted notice for an arson suspect called Chiriku.
Uchiha Naruto watched Ichihashi quit her job after pepper-spraying a drunken customer, then encountered her again at Nakano Park. Their conversation ended when Ichihashi was suddenly dragged beneath the lake’s surface.
Uchiha Naruto rescued Ichihashi from a Toad Monster in Nakano Park’s artificial lake and discovered that the creature had chakra. After defeating it and earning Water Release, he left Ichihashi safe with his jacket and prepared to advance to Chunin.
Uchiha Naruto reached Chunin rank, learned the Bird Clone Technique, and bound a flock of crows to use as scouts and clone mediums. After spotting a wanted poster for Chiriku and continued police surveillance in Nakano Ward, he decided to create a new identity and distract the authorities.
Katori and Hayama Takuya staged a paranormal livestream in an abandoned mall, where a planned scare failed to happen. The chapter ended when Hayama found warm blood on his face and looked up in horror.
Hayama Takuya fled after seeing what looked like a bloodied figure hanging from the ceiling, but the livestream chat mocked him, and he convinced himself Katori-chan's team had staged the scare. While searching the second floor for Katori-chan, Hayama saw Hirano dragged away by something unseen, and the chapter ended with Hayama and the cameraman finding only drag marks in the empty corridor.
Hayama followed Hirano’s drag marks through the abandoned mall, believing Katori’s team was staging a prank, until he found a corpse hanging from the ceiling. Meanwhile, Katori continued her livestream alone in the mall’s second-floor clothing section, where she hinted that the mannequins might hold the souls of the fire’s victims.
Amami Katori explored the abandoned mall while livestreaming, reflecting on how she had built her career as a prop maker and streamer. After a mannequin began crawling, a crowd of mannequins poured out of the clothing section and charged at her.
Hayama Takuya fled through the abandoned mall but was dragged back into the darkness and killed by a monster. Amami Katori was trapped by hostile mannequins during her livestream, until a young man in an Akatsuki cloak arrived through the window.
Uchiha Naruto, disguised as Uchiha Itachi, rescued Amami Katori from a monster during her livestream and pursued the creature through the building. The livestream was blocked, and the chapter ended with the Six-Armed Monster speaking to Uchiha Naruto about his attack.
Uchiha Naruto fought the Six-Armed Monster and learned that it controlled mannequins with invisible Yoki Threads. After escaping its trap and setting it ablaze, he pinned the wounded monster down, leaving it demanding to know what he was.
Uchiha Naruto questioned the Six-Armed Monster about the supernatural world, but it refused to talk, so he tortured it for information. After discovering that monsters could regenerate limbs, he used a Blood-Boosting Pill to heal it and began another round of torture.
Uchiha Naruto interrogated the Six-Armed Monster and learned about Tokyo’s monster organization and its king, Teacher, before killing it and gaining a new technique. As he left the abandoned mall, someone ordered him to raise his hands.
Uchiha Naruto confronted John Odagiri of the Public Security Bureau, who tried to take him in at gunpoint. After cutting through a barrage of bullets and warning Odagiri, Naruto damaged a police helicopter with a fireball and vanished, leaving the officers unable to capture him.
