  • Surrounding wilderness: Ninja Beasts, including Giant Wolves, provide early hunting targets and contribution rewards 4 14.

Administration and Village Systems

Village Development

  • Village level is assessed through ninja numbers, buildings, and reputation 1.
  • Upgrades award resources and otherworld-player recruitment slots; achievements can award additional random resource packs 1 18.
  • Defeating the infiltrator Youzhi earns the village 50 experience points and the achievement Number One Blade of the Shinobi World 18.
  • Players experience the settlement through Hidden Jun Ninja, treating its development, missions, and warfare as game systems 2 22 33.

Contribution Economy

  • Ye Chen issues tasks that reward village contribution points. Players exchange these points for chakra, ninjutsu, food, items, and medical treatment 2 18.
  • Early road-building work pays one contribution point per meter, while killing a Ninja Beast pays 80 points 4 31.
  • Players can contribute original techniques and talismans to the village, earning rewards and expanding its available combat resources 34.
  • Players’ training gains feed back to Ye Chen, strengthening the chief as the village’s recruits improve 1 17 33.

Posts and Discipline

Ye Chen introduces official village posts after discovering that nearly every combat-oriented player has left to hunt, leaving the settlement undefended. A merit-and-penalty system records player conduct and rewards or punishes it under rules written by the chief 43 46 47.

Post Assigned work
Sanitation Workers Clear debris and battlefield remains 47.
Artisans Fill craters left by combat 47.
Gardeners Restore greenery and remove visible battle damage 47.
Guards Patrol the outskirts in shifts and drive away wild beasts 47.
Medical Care players Prepare first-aid equipment for the approaching battle 47.
  • Posts provide daily quests with differing difficulty and rewards; players can complete their work in teams 46 47.

Military Strength

Player Resurrection

  • Players can repeatedly revive, allowing them to learn from failed attacks and return to battle 17 21 38.
  • The normal death penalty removes 10% of chakra, but does not erase ninjutsu or other abilities 2.
  • Resurrection is less useful on distant battlefields: Ye Chen initially considers the roughly 200-kilometer journey to Kusagakure too long for effective reinforcement after respawning 22.
  • Kusagakure interprets respawning as a Resurrection Technique and seeks to seize it. Its intelligence claims the technique has no adverse effects, unlike the normal penalty explained to players 2 32 33.

Defensive Advantages and Limits

  • Chief’s territorial power: Inside Hidden Jun Village, Ye Chen possesses absolute control over nature and access to unlimited natural energy. This lets him reproduce devastating ninjutsu despite initially modest chakra reserves 1 30.
  • Growing ninja force: Four or five players reach Genin-level chakra after Youzhi’s defeat. Later mission rewards raise first-wave players to Chunin and newer recruits to Genin 17 33.
  • High-tier fighters: Ye Chen reaches initial Kage Level, while San Feng becomes an elite Jonin and the village’s strongest fighter beneath the chief 40 42.
  • Early weaknesses: Small numbers, inadequate guarding, and inferior coordination leave players vulnerable to experienced Kusagakure squads led by Jonin 22 28 39 41 43.
  • Combat research: Player-created techniques include Raikage Flash, Gum-Gum Pistol, Wing Chun, and the B-rank Mountain-Crushing Talisman. Ye Chen also makes the A-rank Rasengan available for 100 contribution points 34 40.

Wartime Missions

Mission Reward Special rule
Hold off the Grass Ninja until the chief arrives 1,500 contribution points per participant 28 29 Horn of Bloody Battle removes chakra loss on death and restores players to peak condition 28.
Eliminate an invading Kusagakure Genin 1,000 contribution points 31 During the invasion quest, teams have no size limit and United Against a Common Enemy increases chakra by 30% against hostile-faction ninja 31.
Eliminate an invading Kusagakure Chunin 1,500 contribution points 31 Same invasion-quest rules 31.
Eliminate an invading Kusagakure Jonin 2,000 contribution points 31 Same invasion-quest rules 31.

History

System Activation and Recruitment

Hidden Jun Village begins as a remote, impoverished settlement with few young residents and little infrastructure. Ye Chen uses management experience from his previous life to become chief within six months, satisfying the condition needed to activate his village-building system 1 3 18.

He markets access to the Shinobi World as Hidden Jun Ninja and recruits nine players as his first system villagers. Their initial work combines village construction with chakra training and Ninja Beast hunting 1 2 3 4.

Discovery by Kusagakure

The intelligence-gathering Genin Youzhi stumbles upon the village after another mission. Ninja Beast corpses and chakra traces draw his attention, but Ye Chen detects his infiltration through the system and designates Kusagakure as hostile 14.

The players kill Youzhi after eight waves of attacks and revivals. Their victory produces the village’s first Genin-level recruits and an achievement resource pack that transforms its facilities. Ye Chen then directs players to locate Kusagakure, while enemy encounters reveal their unusual willingness to die and revive 17 18 19 21.

Open War

Yoshino Ichiro leads a Grass Ninja force to the village and demands submission. After the players complete a prolonged defensive mission, Ye Chen rejects the ultimatum, declares war, and annihilates the invading force with a natural-energy reproduction of Planetary Devastation. The explosion leaves a crater more than ten meters deep 28 29 30.

Kusagakure escalates its preparations after learning about player resurrection. Its Anbu cancels routine missions and plans an overwhelming assault to capture the supposed technique before rival villages become involved 32 33.

As fighting spreads through the surrounding forest, Jonin-led enemy squads pressure the village’s perimeter. Ye Chen intervenes with the Rasengan and subsequently offers the technique to players, improving their combat options 38 39 40.

Surprise Attack and Reorganization

Kusagakure uses its retreating squads as bait while stronger forces approach through the eastern forest. With most players away hunting, Ye Chen personally intercepts the attack, destroys the advancing forces with Lightning Blade, and gravely wounds Elder White Ape, who escapes to report the chief’s strength 43 44 50.

The defensive lapse prompts formal village jobs and disciplinary rules. Players repair battle damage, begin guard rotations, and prepare medical supplies. Ye Chen then upgrades the village to level three as further conflict approaches 46 47.

External Relations

  • Kusagakure — Hostile rival seeking the village’s resurrection capability. Repeated losses culminate in reports that Hidden Jun’s chief may have reached Early Kage Level 14 33 50.
  • Konoha — Observes without intervening. Shimura Danzō dismisses Hidden Jun as a newly risen village without a foundation and predicts its defeat 35.
  • Other three major shinobi villages — Learn of the conflict but decline to assist either side, avoiding involvement against Kusagakure and a possible wider war 34 35.
