Biodata
| Feature | Value |
|---|---|
| Name | Contribution Points |
| Original Name | 贡献值 |
| Alias(es) | Village contribution 2 3 |
| Affiliation | Hidden Jun Village; its system shop and village facilities 3 18 |
| Role | System-issued reward currency used to purchase chakra, techniques, equipment, food, and medical treatment 3 18 33 |
| Administrator | Ye Chen issues quests; the system evaluates completion and distributes points 3 |
| First Appearance | Explained as “village contribution” in Chapter 2; formally activated as the Contribution Points System in Chapter 3 2 3 |
System Mechanics
- Quest rewards: Ye Chen sets tasks, while the system awards contribution points according to how well players complete them. System-controlled distribution prevents him from freely handing out enormous balances to exploit a growth loophole 3.
- Skill contributions: Players can submit acquired or self-created skills that meet the system’s conditions. Accepted techniques earn points and become available for other players to purchase 7.
- Automatic assessment: Ye Chen authorizes the system to evaluate original skills and award their creators automatically 10.
- Escalating upgrade costs: The contribution-point requirement doubles with each level of an upgrade. The initial chakra upgrade costs five points, but repeated upgrades become increasingly expensive 3.
- Mission availability: The public-works quests introduced later have no completion deadlines, allowing players to accept several and finish them at their own pace 9.
- Profession missions: After profession registration, players access occupation-specific Daily Missions through their Profession Panel. Rewards vary with mission difficulty 47.
Earning Contribution Points
Daily Missions and Public Works
The earliest missions reward infrastructure construction, farmland reclamation, and assistance to residents 3.
| Task | Reward | Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| Build village roads | 1 point per meter | Initial daily mission 3 |
| Reclaim abandoned farmland | 1 point per square meter | Initial daily mission 3 |
| Solve a villager’s problem | 1 point per completed request | Requests include sharpening a knife, recovering a runaway sow, delivering a message, and planting a tree 3 |
| Pave the eastern entrance road with stones | 10 points per person | Requires three players 9 |
| Plant landscaping trees along the western entrance road | 10 points per person | Requires two players 9 |
Early daily grinding can yield only a dozen or so points in a day, sometimes insufficient for another chakra purchase. The ten-point team quests therefore represent a substantial improvement over the original one-point tasks 9.
Hunting, Exploration, and Combat
| Objective | Reward | Documented Result or Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| Kill a Ninja Beast | 80 points | Emperor of Sinking identifies hunting as more profitable than basic daily quests; players also cite this reward for a fierce wild wolf 4 7 |
| Kill the Wolf King | 120 points | Awarded to Emperor of Sinking 13 |
| Eliminate the infiltrating Grass Ninja, Youzhi | 600 points per participant | Completed after eight waves of attacks 14 17 |
| Locate Kusagakure | 2,000 points | Dai Xiaomei and Emperor of Sinking each receive the reward upon entering Kusagakure 19 20 |
| Expand the map around Hidden Jun Village | 1,000 points per participant | Main quest issued after the arrival of new players 25 |
| Defend Hidden Jun Village until Jun arrives | 1,500 points per participant | Successfully completed by holding back the invading Grass Ninja 28 29 |
| Eliminate an invading Kusagakure Genin | 1,000 points | Reward under the Kusagakure invasion main quest 31 |
| Eliminate an invading Kusagakure Chunin | 1,500 points | Dai Xiaomei receives this reward for finishing a wounded Chunin 31 37 |
| Eliminate an invading Kusagakure Jonin | 2,000 points | Heaven-Piercing Sword receives this reward for killing He Mu 31 37 |
- Defense support: The village-defense quest grants Horn of Bloody Battle, removing chakra loss on death and restoring players to peak condition until Jun arrives 28.
- Invasion support: The later invasion quest permits unrestricted team sizes and grants United Against a Common Enemy, increasing chakra by 30% when fighting hostile-faction ninja 31.
- Repeat hunting: By repeatedly luring Giant Wolves into traps, Emperor of Sinking accumulates a four-digit balance. Other players subsequently reach four-digit balances through monster grinding as well 14 15.
Contributing Skills
For martial arts submissions, the system requires a complete set of movements and proof of lethality. Other created skills must likewise be recognized as valuable by the system 7 34.
| Contributor | Contribution | Reward | Assessment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bullfighting Master | Eight Extremes Collapse | 120 points | Complete combat-taijutsu set 7 |
| Raijin | Lightning Release: Thunder Strike | 180 points | Complete original C-Rank ninjutsu 10 |
| Master Sanfeng | Zhurong Spell, No Thought Spell, and Six Harmonies Spell | 540 points total | Three independently created C-Rank secret arts 24 |
| Heaven-Piercing Sword | Lightning Release: Raikage Flash | 800 points | Accepted and listed as C-Rank ninjutsu 34 |
| Daoist Arts Master | Mountain-Crushing Talisman | Amount unspecified | B-Rank talisman; described as earning a massive reward 34 |
- Rewards are not a fixed rate by rank: Thunder Strike earns 180 points, whereas Raikage Flash earns 800 despite both being classified as C-Rank 10 34.
- Further income: Players’ rush to buy and redeem talismans brings Daoist Arts Master additional contribution points, though the payment formula is not specified 37.
- Research expenses: Master Sanfeng’s early talisman experiments consume so much paper that his Ninja Beast rewards cannot cover the next batch of materials 24.
Purchases and Prices
Documented Prices
| Purchase | Cost | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Each of the five initial E-Rank elemental ninjutsu | 5 points to learn | Lightning Technique, Rock and Soil Technique, Wind Summoning Technique, Fire Control Technique, and Water Control Technique 3 |
| Chakra Refinement Technique / initial chakra upgrade | 5 points | Subsequent level costs double 3 |
| Eight Extremes Collapse | 1 point | Ye Chen deliberately sets a symbolic price for the player-created taijutsu 7 |
| Rasengan | 100 points | A-Rank ninjutsu; players consider it extremely cheap relative to their wartime balances 40 |
| Big Ball Rasengan | 1,000 points | S-Rank ninjutsu purchased by Dai Xiaomei 48 |
Other Uses
- Chakra reserves: Players exchange points directly for chakra energy, making it a frequent choice after large quest payouts 17 31 33.
- Technique acquisition and upgrades: Points buy newly listed C-Rank ninjutsu and upgrade techniques already owned 18 22.
- Ninja tools and supplies: Purchases include kunai, flexible armor, custom-made weapons, explosive tags, talisman paper, and talismans 18 24 34 37.
- Food: The village’s Gourmet Restaurant accepts contribution points 18.
- Medical treatment: Players can spend points at the Medical Department to treat injuries sustained during sparring 33.
Role in Player and Village Growth
Documented Advancement Through Spending
| Advancement | Chapter | Contribution-Point Connection |
|---|---|---|
| First players reach Genin-level chakra reserves | 17 | Players spend their 600-point rewards from defeating Youzhi on chakra; the system subsequently confirms four Genin |
| Emperor of Sinking becomes one of the strongest players | 22 | His Kusagakure exploration payout funds chakra increases and C-Rank ninjutsu upgrades |
| First-wave players reach Chunin; newer players reach Genin | 33 | Players reinvest the 1,500-point village-defense reward in chakra; the village has eighteen ninja, none below Genin |
Combat Spending Priorities
- Chakra alone is insufficient: Sparring reveals that higher-ranked ninjutsu can decisively outperform lower-ranked techniques among ninja of the same rank. Players consequently reserve or redirect points toward techniques rather than spending everything on chakra 33.
- Rewards encourage dangerous encounters: Players view enemy ninja as lucrative targets, competing for kills and repeatedly attacking opponents stronger than themselves 27 36 37.
- Shop updates affect battlefield behavior: When Rasengan becomes available, players arrange to die and respawn in batches so they can return to the village, purchase it, and rejoin combat 40.
Benefits to Ye Chen and Hidden Jun Village
Contribution rewards initially turn player labor toward roads, farmland, and residents’ needs. Later profession missions organize sanitation, crater repair, gardening, patrols, and medical preparation; this construction effort helps the village qualify for level three 3 47.
Player spending also strengthens Ye Chen through the system’s feedback mechanism. The first Genin advances raise his chakra reserves to roughly Chunin level, subsequent purchases push his reserves beyond ordinary elite Jonin, and continued wartime gains bring him close to Kage level. Players learning Rasengan then help him attain complete mastery of the technique and initial Kage level 17 33 38 40.
