After Orochimaru escaped, Ye Chen prepared Hidden Jun Village for the attack he expected and organized its players to defend the Land of Grass. The fighting spread across the front as the tournament youths battled the Otogakure Five, while an unfamiliar cultivator entered the fight against Tayuya.

• Ye Chen used Target Lock to injure Orochimaru, but Orochimaru escaped underground, and Tsunade returned to Konoha while the tournament contestants remained outside Hidden Jun Village.
• Ye Chen began the Powerful Enemy Invasion event, detected Amegakure ninja waiting at the border, and kept his forces ready to defend the village.
• Orochimaru summoned Manda and Aoda, then used Impure World Reincarnation to raise Hanzo of the Salamander as the defenders faced the Otogakure Five and Amegakure ninja.
• Master of Open Stratagems organized the Hidden Jun Village players to reinforce the front while protecting their village, and Yamato’s forces struggled against the enemy.
• Choji used the red pill to transform into a butterfly and defeat Jirobo, while Neji Hyuga fought Kidomaru and received help from Corpse Bearer and Bullfighting Master.
• Kidomaru activated his second-level cursed seal and caused a massive explosion, while Neji resisted being carried away after discovering that outsiders knew the Hyuga Clan’s secret technique.
• Shikamaru used Shadow Possession to bind Tayuya, but she activated her second-level cursed seal, restored her Three Demons, and trapped him in a genjutsu.
• An unfamiliar cultivator pulled Shikamaru out of Tayuya’s illusion and charged her Three Demons with a flaming sword as they formed a spirit and lunged at him.

Ye Chen fought Orochimaru’s forces to defend Hidden Jun Village, defeating their summons with the village’s power of nature and Susanoo. As Orochimaru’s plan to seize Sasuke unfolded, Old Mr. Yu confronted him while Ye Chen’s vision remained blocked.

• Daoist Master Sanfeng and Shikamaru escaped Tayuya’s illusion, while Kankuro and Raijin fought Sakon and Ukon and Rock Lee and Gaara battled Kimimaro, who died after his final attack failed.
• Ye Chen learned Orochimaru had taken a new body and prepared Hidden Jun Village as Orochimaru and his companions approached, while Falcon's Eye rushed to livestream the confrontation.
• Orochimaru sent the Otogakure Four to trap Ye Chen in the Four Violet Flames Formation, but Ye Chen held his ground as Orochimaru summoned giant snakes and Hanzo summoned Ibuse.
• Ye Chen drew on the village’s power of nature, opened six gates, and fought off Orochimaru’s summons and combined attacks before Orochimaru unleashed the Eight Branches Technique.
• Ye Chen survived the serpent assault and summoned Susanoo, whose Totsuka Blade cut through Aoda and severed seven of Orochimaru’s heads, leaving both fighters weakened.
• Kabuto Yakushi arrived with Sasuke Uchiha, and Ye Chen learned through Retrospection that Orochimaru’s attack aimed to obtain Sasuke with Amegakure’s support.
• Kabuto used the Temple of Nirvana Technique while Orochimaru awakened Sasuke, whose Three-Tomoe Sharingan genjutsu Ye Chen countered with Bringer-of-Darkness.
• Orochimaru ordered Kabuto to kill the blinded Ye Chen, but Old Mr. Yu revealed he was unaffected by the Dojutsu and denounced the invaders for killing Hidden Jun Village’s people.

Ye Chen defended Hidden Jun Village from Orochimaru and the Akatsuki, then expanded the village and prepared to investigate Amegakure. The arc ended as the players entered the Land of Rain and the Vanguard Squad suddenly went silent.

• Ye Chen fought Kabuto Yakushi, Deidara, and Sasori while Granny Qianyin protected Hidden Jun Village and helped calm Naruto Uzumaki’s rampage.
• Orochimaru escaped with the unconscious Sasuke Uchiha, while Deidara and Sasori captured Gaara and sealed One-Tail Shukaku inside him.
• Master of Open Stratagems led the players against Amegakure mercenaries, and the battle ended with the mercenaries defeated and Old Yu Next Door rewarded for his courage.
• Ye Chen advanced to peak Kage level, gained new techniques and facilities, and prepared Hidden Jun Village for its sixth closed beta test.
• Ye Chen convinced Jiraiya that he descended from the Ōtsutsuki Clan, refused Jiraiya’s proposed blood pact, and offered to help investigate Amegakure.
• Ye Chen launched the “Explore Amegakure” event and renovated Kusagakure into an intelligence center and defensive bulwark linked by a Teleportation Barrier.
• The players crossed into the Land of Rain to earn Battle Merit Points, and Ye Chen received a message that the Vanguard Squad had gone silent.

Ye Chen entered the Land of Rain as the Glory Legion launched a rescue mission that drew Granny Chiyo and the village fighters into battles with Sasori and Deidara. The mission reached Hozuki Castle, where Mujo took Naruto and Shikamaru prisoner and Kakashi fought to reach them.

• Ye Chen learned that the Vanguard Squad had been captured at Hozuki Castle Prison, while Master of Open Stratagems organized a rescue plan and Ye Chen prepared to infiltrate Amegakure with Jiraiya.
• Ye Chen rebuffed the Kusagakure daimyo’s offer to join the Land of Rain’s camp, then disguised himself and crossed the heavily guarded border while the Glory Legion recruited Naruto and other fighters for the prison mission.
• Master of Open Stratagems led the rescue force into the Land of Rain, where Granny Chiyo joined them and split from the main group to confront Sasori of the Red Sands.
• Sakura Haruno helped Granny Chiyo defeat Sasori, who revealed himself as her grandson before the two used the parent puppets to pierce his core and burned his remains.
• Kakashi Hatake and the rescue team fought Deidara as Gaara battled him, but Mujo arrived and ordered the intruders taken to Hozuki Castle.
• Mujo sealed Naruto Uzumaki’s chakra and had guards carry him and Shikamaru away, prompting Kakashi Hatake to unleash Kamui and fight through the guards.
• Deidara helped Mujo resist Kakashi’s genjutsu and fought alongside him, while Kakashi broke through Deidara’s clay attacks and tried to pursue the prisoners.
• Mujo seized Choji as a hostage, and Kakashi reached him and electrified the ground beneath him as Mujo thrust his fingers toward it.
