After putting away the Den Den Mushi, Xie Wen scooped up the two Bomb Cats, one in each arm, and leaned in to rub his cheek against theirs.
The two little cats wrapped their arms around Xie Wen's head in return and responded affectionately.

Xie Wen rolled his eyes wordlessly, then headed with the cats toward Hilnans, who was keeping watch for them in the distance.
With the Dyna Stone matter settled and the Map already fully explored along the way during their tour of the Marine Base, Xie Wen and his companions had nothing else they needed on this island. But leaving just like that would seem a little too self-serving and rude, so Xie Wen decided to stay a while longer...
At the very least, they had to follow through on Hilnans's earlier invitation to eat at the Marine mess hall.
