Klee Meow had always liked using repeated words to name her bombs, such as the basic "Boom-Boom Bombs," the enhanced-firepower "Jumpy Dumpty," and the "Boom-Boom Spark" she had recreated through the Flame-Flame Fruit's powers.
If ordinary people spoke in cutesy repetitions, it would naturally be sickening, but when Klee Meow did it, it was nothing but adorable.
As mentioned before, Klee Meow had used Sonic Bombs to improve the bombs she used for blast fishing, ensuring that they stunned the fish without killing them. The Whoosh-Whoosh Bombs were the result of further improvements, developed specifically to reach fish hiding deep underwater.
As the name suggested, these things worked much like torpedoes and could travel some distance through the water. In fact, tossing them into the air and turning them into missiles was hardly a problem either... because Xie Wen had seen Klee Meow use them to bomb birds.
As they spoke, the Head-Hunting Pirates' Pirates Ship had already entered normal naval cannon range. Before Klee Meow could act, the other side fired several cannonballs at them first. Their aim was terrible, though, and almost all the shots landed more than ten meters from Explorer One, throwing up great splashes.
"Those bad guys actually dared to attack first, meow!" Little Plushie stamped her feet in anger.
Then, fuming, Klee Meow quickly pulled a dozen or so round little "dolls" from the little schoolbag on her back.
Even for "torpedoes," Klee Meow still made them in her favorite round shape, only with a tassel-like tail attached to the back of each little ball.
Klee Meow grabbed one of the Whoosh-Whoosh Bombs by its tail, raised it over her head, and began swinging it.
"Heave-ho!"
After rapidly swinging it a dozen or so times, Klee Meow swung her arm and hurled the bomb
