Xie Wen tested Buggy’s Chop-Chop Fruit by slashing and striking him while the Buggy Pirates joined the fight as a cheer squad. Ai Haibara Meow arrived and eagerly prepared to collect Buggy’s blood for research, leaving him terrified.

• Mohji, Cabaji, and the Buggy Pirates abandoned Buggy and charged toward the Marines to support Straw Hat.
• Xie Wen decided not to kill Buggy and tested whether the Chop-Chop Fruit made him immune to different sword attacks.
• Xie Wen repeatedly slashed and struck Buggy, discovering that the fruit automatically split him apart against some attacks but not others.
