Several snake heads suddenly emerged from Orochimaru's sleeves. Their mouths gaped open, baring their fangs as they coiled toward the nearest Naruto. The technique was incredibly fast, like a venomous snake striking, fast enough to leave afterimages. In the blink of an eye, the snakes had bound that Naruto hand and foot.
Sasuke and Sakura had only just recovered from the earlier explosion when they saw Naruto get caught, and their hearts clenched. They had no idea whether the one captured was the original or a clone, but all their hopes now rested on Naruto. If he lost, with their strength, the two of them would not even have the courage to face this terrifying opponent!
The captured Naruto struggled furiously, instead tying Orochimaru down for a moment. The remaining Narutos seized the chance to swarm him. This time, Orochimaru had no time to use the Substitution Technique.
Five Narutos were in charge of beating Orochimaru, while another took out a kunai and cut through the snakes one by one. Though the snakes were very tough, they were as fragile as ordinary snakes before Naruto's kunai. In the blink of an eye, the trapped Naruto had broken free.
Now, seven Narutos were ganging up on Orochimaru! For a time, the beating left Orochimaru in a sorry state.
Watching Naruto single-handedly pin Orochimaru down and beat him, then thinking back to how weak and helpless he himself had been before Orochimaru, Sasuke doubted himself even more. Power! I'm still too weak! Damn it! I want to get stronger too! I'm the one who needs to get stronger!
