With a tremendous roar, Su Yu and Deidara were engulfed in a massive explosion.
Behind Su Yu, Kakashi and Jiraiya were not worried about his safety at all. The beam that had leveled the mountains behind Konoha earlier had failed to leave even a mark on him. Impressive as this explosion was, it was worlds apart from that.
But although Su Yu would be fine, they certainly would not have an easy time if they were caught in it, so they immediately chose to retreat.
Before they could move, however, they saw the newly blossoming flower of the explosion abruptly contract, as though an invisible hand had seized all its power without letting the slightest bit escape.
The next second, the explosion's flames were erased, as though that explosive force had instantly become a gentle breeze and dissipated into the air.
Silence. Utter silence. For a moment, nothing could be heard in the cave except their breathing.
What Deidara had just used was no basic attack, but a proper skill-and a very high-level one at that!
Its power ranked among the top five of all his bombs!
After all, arrogant as Deidara was, he was no fool. Su Yu had emerged from his earlier bombardment completely unscathed, even having strength to spare to protect others. His strength had to be extraordinary, and ordinary methods would be useless.
