When Nick Fury and Tony brought the Avengers to the blind box shop and saw Su Yu toying with and examining a very familiar-looking scepter, everyone was dumbfounded.
But Nick Fury immediately caught on.
Although S.H.I.E.L.D. had confiscated the scepter earlier, he now knew that the people who had taken it were all goddamn Hydra agents!
"Mr. Shopkeeper, has Hydra already been here?"
Nick Fury looked rather grim, but since his face was already dark, it was not particularly obvious.
Hydra really had spared no expense, even giving the scepter to the shopkeeper.
Seeing everyone, Su Yu casually tossed the scepter aside. Rather than falling to the floor, it vanished into thin air.
"Yes, Hydra was indeed here. Baron Strucker, tsk, tsk. What a memorable man!"
Su Yu looked as though he were reminiscing, giving no hint that just minutes earlier, he had burned Baron Strucker's soul to nothing with Hellfire.
"Memorable?"
Nick Fury did not know what Su Yu meant by memorable. He assumed Strucker had won Su Yu's favor, and his expression grew even grimmer.
Their old enemy had won a god's favor. That really was the most stroke-inducing event of the year.
"That's right. The man really had guts. He thought having the Mind Stone Scepter made him invincible and tried to control me. Heh."
Su Yu was willing to call him the bravest man of all!
Hearing this, Nick Fury and the Avengers sucked in a breath of cold air.
That gasp was three parts shock, three parts relief, and the rest was lingering fear.
They truly found it hard to imagine that anyone on Earth would dare attack Su Yu, especially after he had demonstrated his power.
All they could say was, that was Hydra for you.
