Just then, boundless gray-white fog suddenly surged before her eyes. Mr. Fool's figure appeared in its depths, his tone calm. "'The World' has returned to Backlund."
Immediately afterward, Klein's figure appeared. "Miss Justice, I've completed my advancement and returned to Backlund. You can choose a place for us to meet tomorrow."
Audrey thought for a moment, then said, "Then let's use the villa where Mr. The Tower used to live."
"Thank you, Mr. Fool."
"Mm."
The gray-white fog dispersed, and she was back in her room.
"He's finally back?"
Audrey rubbed her fingers together, torn and hesitant for a moment. "Am I really going to pretend to be... from the same world and 'reunite' with Klein? But my understanding of his original world is actually limited. If I slip up, he'll easily connect it to Edward, won't he?"
Wouldn't that mean I'd betrayed Edward?
And, and do I really need to 'reunite' with him?
Maybe he really is from the same world as Edward, and so is the girl he's looking for, but how would 'reuniting' with Klein help me find Edward?

Audrey suddenly froze. That's right. How would it help?
Her heart jolted, and she hurriedly sorted through the relevant thoughts.
The reason she had come up with the idea of "reuniting" with Klein was that, after Edward disappeared, when Klein posted a commission at the Tarot Club to find that girl, her intuition had told her there might be some connection.
But thinking about it now, is there really any necessary connection between the two?
*Granted, that girl very likely comes from Edward's world too, but even if she really is connected to Edward's disappearance, what would be the point of 'coming clean' to Klein-Klein is looking for that girl too. He doesn't know where she is
