Edward advanced to Sequence 6, returned to Hogwarts, and became involved in Dumbledore’s bid for Minister for Magic as rumors and Dementors threatened the school. He exposed Rita Skeeter’s role in the campaign against Dumbledore and began investigating Hogwarts and the Forbidden Forest, while Audrey sought to learn the Patronus Charm.

• Edward accepted the Red Priest Card from the priest and discovered that the Twilight Hermit Order would only admit him after he rescued Mr. Door, a task he suspected was tied to the Sunken Laurel and Amon’s scheme.
• Bernadette gave Edward Botis’s Secrets Sorcerer characteristic and Apprentice Pathway materials in exchange for stories and translations, while Klein’s Tarot Club welcomed Fors and discussed Edward’s dangerous exploits and Priscilla’s combined Medici, Einhorn, and Sauron spirit.
• Edward advanced to Sequence 6 Bookworm, but his vision of a river, a scythe-bearing figure, and Hogwarts left him fearing he might be a contingency for a powerful being’s resurrection, and Audrey calmed him as he began to lose control.
• Edward returned to Hogwarts, learned Dumbledore was running for Minister for Magic, and helped repel Dementors before warning Cedric that a matter of life and death lay ahead.
• Edward taught Transfiguration, questioned Hogwarts ghosts and portraits, and helped Audrey learn about students’ troubles, including Neville’s concern for his parents and Malfoy’s fear of serving Voldemort again.
• Edward confronted Ravenclaw students who challenged his teaching, demonstrating Transfiguration’s defensive and offensive uses, while he and Audrey suspected pure-blood families and Fudge were behind the attacks on Dumbledore’s reputation.
• Edward exposed Rita Skeeter as an illegal Animagus and forced her to agree to write reports against Fudge, his allies, and pure-blood families, then restored her magic.

Edward and Audrey investigated old magic, introduced potion pathways at Hogwarts, and faced growing trouble involving Durmstrang, the Ministry, and Death Eaters. The arc ended with Edward freeing Sirius in Azkaban and directing him to kill prisoners Edward named.

• Audrey mastered the Patronus Charm and produced a silver dragon, while Firenze told Edward that centaur records described unexplained changes among magical beings and strange shifts in the stars.
• Edward and Audrey visited St. Mungo’s, where Audrey entered Alice Longbottom’s Mind World with Edward and helped uncover how the Longbottoms’ fear had protected them from their attackers.
• Malfoy revealed that a black diary had been sending him messages, and Edward identified it as Voldemort’s first Horcrux.
• Edward and Audrey explored Godric’s Hollow, captured treasure hunters digging up Gryffindor’s tomb, and accepted the legendary objects they had collected.
• Edward introduced potion pathways and the acting method to Hogwarts’ professors and students, then gave Snape the Corpse Collector potion, which Snape survived with Audrey’s help.

• Edward, Audrey, and Lilith attacked Azkaban, subdued its guards, and questioned its prisoners before Edward freed Sirius and ordered him to kill the Death Eaters he named.

Edward and his allies uncovered a planned assault on Hogwarts and prepared for the Minister for Magic election, while Edward’s investigations also brought Sirius out of Azkaban and led to the recovery of Hufflepuff’s Cup. After the attack, Edward woke with several days missing and used a Time-Turner to revisit the events, leaving him investigating a new disturbance inside Hogwarts.

• Audrey treated Azkaban’s prisoners while Sirius killed Bellatrix and other dangerous inmates, then Edward, Audrey, Sirius, Lilith, and Susie escaped as goblins approached the prison on fire dragons.
• Edward and Dumbledore confronted the goblins at Gringotts, found Hufflepuff’s Cup in the Lestrange Vault, and learned that goblins and Death Eaters might attack Hogwarts during the ministerial election.
• Lucius Malfoy admitted that Barty Crouch Jr. had ordered a Death Eater attack on Hogwarts, though Edward failed to discover why Lucius seemed confident Voldemort could not kill him.
• Edward visited Grindelwald, who repaired Edward’s ulna to enable wandless magic and revealed that a phoenix captured in New Zealand had escaped.
• Dumbledore warned that Barty Crouch Jr. and the goblins would attack Hogwarts on election day, and Edward taught the professors and Weasleys about Beyonder Pathways and their potions.
• On December 20, Death Eaters, goblins, giants, Dementors, and dragons attacked Hogwarts, while Dumbledore entered the election and Audrey helped disrupt the invaders.
• Edward woke on December 25 with no memory of the intervening days and learned from Audrey that he had killed Barty Crouch Jr. and seen Voldemort escape with the Philosopher’s Stone.
• Edward used a Time-Turner to return to December 19, then watched the attack unfold again and left his post guarding the Philosopher’s Stone after hearing screams inside Hogwarts.

Edward helped defend Hogwarts, uncovered the Mirror of Erised’s connection to the Underworld, and learned that Ariana had survived and once cared for him. After returning to the Lord of the Mysteries world, he resumed his plans while new troubles surfaced in Backlund.

• Edward and Audrey helped repel the attack on Hogwarts, and Edward stopped Barty Crouch Jr. before Voldemort and Harry were drawn into the Mirror of Erised with him.
• Edward returned with Harry, learned from the One-Eyed Old Goblin’s spirit that the goblins wanted the mirror, and helped expose Fudge’s collusion with them.
• Edward discovered that Ariana Dumbledore had brought him to Grindelwald sixteen years earlier, and Ariana gave him the Time-Turner she had stolen from the Ministry.
• Edward and Audrey helped Sirius recover Regulus’s Locket and meet Regulus’s soul, while Edward’s past self returned through the Mirror of Erised and warned him about corruption.
• Edward traveled back five days with the Time-Turner, advanced his potion preparations, and learned that Luna had become Ariana’s student.
• Edward and Audrey returned to the Lord of the Mysteries world, where Edward offered modern supplies to the Evernight Goddess and asked her to split a Secrets Sorcerer characteristic.
• Edward learned that Anthony had disappeared, while Leonard joined a Devil hunt and Lilith visited a girl in Cherwood Borough.
• Edward asked Mr. A to find a Shepherd characteristic and discussed Miss D’s impending arrival in Backlund.
