Harry was now certain there was something wrong with Rolf's cat.
But why cats with something wrong with them tended to like Ron was beyond Harry. Could the deity connected to Ron have something to do with cats?
Hmm, now I remember.
Luna had started saying Ron was different in their third year, and the summer before that, Ron had gone to Egypt with the Weasley family. During that trip, Ron did seem to have encountered something strange.

Ordinary cats showed no particular reaction.
Harry found the thought amusing as he watched Miss Elphick nestled in Ron's arms, jumping back onto Ron whenever Rolf picked her up.
"So Miss Elphick really can see a deity's aura? But why does she treat Harry and Ron so differently?" Hermione asked in puzzlement.
"I'm afraid so." Harry spread his hands. "My guess is that the deity I came into contact with isn't particularly likable?"
Harry inwardly disparaged the Black Man with no small amount of malice. That fellow really was rather nasty, after all.
"That's quite possible." After learning how Ron might have come into contact with a deity, Rolf said with great interest,
"Judging by Mr. Weasley's account, he really may have encountered Bastet. Bastet is the guardian deity of cats. If it really was Bastet, it would make sense for cats with spiritual awareness to be particularly fond of Mr. Weasley," Rolf said.
"Er... Rolf, don't call me Mr. Weasley. That's usually what people call my dad." Ron twisted his neck, seemingly
