After the Order discussed the Dark Council, Dumbledore decided not to intervene in Northern Europe and planned to rest at the Manor. Harry helped Hermione restore her parents’ memories, then returned with Ron to Privet Drive, where Aunt Petunia and Dudley welcomed him in their own ways.

• Dumbledore said he would leave the Dark Council alone unless its Ministries requested help, and explained that he needed time to recover after fighting Voldemort.
• Dumbledore invited Snape to discuss next year’s classes, while Harry privately hoped Snape would not teach seventh year.
• Harry offered to undo the Memory Magic on Hermione’s parents and removed their memory seals, reuniting the Grangers with Hermione.
• Harry and Ron Apparated to Privet Drive so Harry could tell the Dursleys he was safe.
• Aunt Petunia concealed her delight at Harry’s return, while Dudley rushed over and hugged Harry so tightly that Ron had to warn him to let go.

Sirius and Professor Babbling told Harry that the Dark Council had abducted Jacques Xilieikesi and revealed that Ulysses Xilieikesi and German Deputy Minister Longlia Longbottom were among its leaders. Babbling asked Harry to use the Dream Realm to track the Council, offering her blood as a marker because she was related by blood to one of its members.

• Sirius told Harry that the Dark Council had abducted Jacques Xilieikesi.
• Babbling explained that Ulysses Xilieikesi was the Black Joker and that Longlia Longbottom, a German Deputy Minister of Magic, appeared to lead the Council.
• Babbling revealed that she was a devotee of Cyaegha, a deity whose powers did not extend strongly into the Dream Realm.
• Babbling asked Harry to help locate the Dark Council by using the Dream Realm and a marker she could provide.
• Babbling offered her blood, explaining that she and one of the Dark Council's members were sisters by blood.

Morgana overwhelmed the Dark Council after they summoned her, but Harry called on the mysterious woman with the complete Tower Chapters, who resealed Morgana. Twenty years later, Harry and his family saw Bell off to Hogwarts, and Kayla worried about the Sorting Ceremony.

• Ulysses summoned Morgana through a constructed body, and she recognized the Dark Council's sealing formation as a contingency against her.
• Ulysses ordered the Dark Council to seal Morgana, but she evaded the spell, darkened the island, killed a vampire member, and drained the others' magic and souls.
• Morgana severed Babbling's connection to her deity and disabled Harry's Left Hand of Chaos and Calamity, but Harry used the Tower Chapters to challenge her and draw the mysterious woman to the island.
• The woman broke Morgana's barrier and resealed her, after which the Dark Council fell apart and peace returned to the Wizarding World.
• Twenty years later, Harry, Qiu, their children, and the Weasleys gathered at Platform Nine and Three-Quarters to send Bell to Hogwarts.
• Kayla asked Harry what would happen if she were sorted into each Hogwarts house, and Harry joked that he might transfer her if she ended up in Slytherin.
