This little treasure was a Miniature 3D Ultrasonic Scanning Robot.
Because Thomas Wayne had allowed so little time for design and manufacture, Lucius had not even had time to give this great new invention a pleasant-sounding name.
But despite being only the size of a marble and having a name so blunt it lacked any aesthetic appeal, it could easily scan hundreds of square meters. Owlman had carried a bag of these treasures, scattering them as he went. With Lucius's assistance, the data collected should already have been uploaded to his personal computer.
Once he obtained that data and compared it against Wayne Tower's construction data, with A's analysis added in, Thomas Wayne believed the once fog-shrouded labyrinth would open generously to him like his own front door.
Then again, Wayne Tower was his home to begin with. He had to sneak home like a treasure hunter creeping into a dragon's lair. What could be more galling than that?
When they reached the fifty-seventh floor, Lucius suddenly broke free of Qin Wei's hold.
"You two go ahead. I left something in my office! A lot of the research material is on paper. I have to take it with me!"
"Then where should we meet up later-"
Afraid that Lucius had made up this excuse because he was worried about holding him back, Qin Wei hurriedly asked.
But before Lucius could answer, Owlman grabbed Qin Wei's arm and continued running.
"What's there to ask? What does it matter to you whether he lives or dies? You've only met him once."
Just listen to that. Even Qin Wei, who considered himself cold-blooded, thought it went too far.
But Lucius had already turned and left, and the sight of his resolute retreating figure made Qin Wei abandon the idea of chasing after him.
