Supergirl Kara was the mole?
Upon hearing Lynn's words, everyone in the command hall wore an expression of disbelief.
The main reason they had come here was that Supergirl Kara had cooperated with the United States and chosen to negotiate with the Kryptonians.
Moreover, Supergirl Kara was leading these negotiations.
And now you were telling them she was the mole?
How was that possible?
"Wait, Agent... uh, wearing the bear head, have you made a mistake?" Sam Lane hurriedly turned to Lynn and asked with a frown.
"Get this straight. Supergirl Kara is our bargaining chip in these negotiations.
It's precisely because she and Superman are the fellow Kryptonians they want back that we can negotiate with those aliens.
If she's the mole, what are we supposed to negotiate with?"
"Exactly."
Lois Lane nodded, also finding Lynn's words rather unbelievable.
"If Kara is the mole, why would she have Earth negotiate with Krypton? Wouldn't that be completely unnecessary?"
Not only she but Wonder Woman Diana and Green Lantern Hal Jordan beside her were frowning too, their eyes moving back and forth between Supergirl Kara and Lynn.
"Kara, do you have a grudge with him?" Diana took Kara's hand and asked quietly.
She and Kara were fairly close friends, and she simply couldn't believe Kara would be Krypton's mole.
Kara shook her head.
"Hold on. We need evidence for everything."
Hal stepped forward, turned toward Lois Lane in her office outfit, and offered his analysis.
"Miss Lane, how did you learn that there was a mole among us?
If I'm not mistaken, it must have something to do with that phone call just now, right?"
Lois Lane nodded. "That's right. The Secretary of Defense called just now. He was the one who told me there was a mole on our team."
