Background
Lynn transmigrated into Gotham without a legal identity. Initially frightened by the city’s criminals, contaminated water, and supernatural curses, he accepted a system that rewarded him for completing game-like objectives. He subsequently began treating Gotham as a playable map, its inhabitants as NPCs, and Batman as its final boss 2 6.
His knowledge of comic-book characters gives him information unavailable to most people around him. He knows Batman is Bruce Wayne, recognizes the Court of Owls, and can identify figures such as Black Canary and Green Lantern through a combination of prior knowledge and NPC panels 13 83 109. Death later confirms that his destiny is absent from the Book of Destiny and that he does not originate from her multiverse 129.
Appearance
- Natural appearance: A lean face, dark eyes, and short black hair 2 22 37.
- Signature costume: A bear-head mask, iron-plate armor, and skate shoes. The bear mask can filter polluted air 3 7.
- Other costumes: His panel lists the Pleasant Goat Costume, Big Bear Outfit, Sister Yu Costume, and Iron Man Armor 38.
- Layered equipment: Before entering the zombie instance, he wears Bat-Armor over the Iron Big Bear Outfit to retain its stat bonuses 133.
- Temporary holy transformation: During the Nergal battle, his hair turns white and he gains golden armor, six pairs of flaming wings, and two holy-flame greatswords 37.
Personality
Lynn is irreverent, provocative, and intensely reward-driven. He steals from criminals, invents insulting nicknames, impersonates others, and searches for ways to turn unusual system mechanics into advantages. He repeatedly praises his own “World-Shocking Intelligence,” including while devising schemes to farm quests, NPC affection, and Feast stacks 3 13 38 69.
His morality is selective rather than consistently heroic. He pays Willis Todd’s debt because Willis is his chosen teammate and promises to resurrect Jason’s parents. He also rescues Deadshot’s family and pursues his killers, while privately considering whether sacrificing recruited NPCs could generate more quests 8 22 66 68 69.
He rejects Batman’s insistence on repeatedly imprisoning criminals, arguing that their future victims and Gotham’s living conditions matter more than preserving that cycle. His conduct nevertheless extends well beyond that argument: he kills police officers, humiliates opponents, and uses coercive powers against allies and enemies alike 13 70 81 105.
Lynn is openly flirtatious and approaches relationships through dating-game mechanics. Despite frequently seeking immediate gratification, he deliberately chooses a slower approach with Kara when he believes an outrageous demand would damage her affection toward him 40 53 131.
Abilities & Skills
Player System
Lynn’s system provides quests, experience, attributes, reputation, inventory storage, NPC information, and rewards drawn from multiple fictional settings 2 19 38.
- Quest interface: Displays objectives, progress, rewards, and guidance markers 17 24 84.
- NPC panels: Reveal names, conditions, skills, possessions, and other information 40 83 105 109.
- Instant equipment changes: Allows him to change outfits and retrieve weapons without carrying them openly 3 10 11.
- Storage restriction: The ordinary System Inventory initially cannot hold living demons; the Dimensional Pocket later supplies NPC storage 28 37.
- Boss ratings: Rewards depend on performance. The system warns that contributing little damage can lower his rating 38.
Feast
Feast consumes weakened targets to accumulate permanent stat bonuses. Documented targets include demons, Solomon Grundy, Swamp Thing, Talons Assassins, ghosts, and Kryptonian soldiers 27 62 69 86 88 114.
- Stat farming: Repeatedly consumes resurrecting supernatural beings, waiting for their revival before continuing 63 86.
- Target preparation: Uses Rolisa’s soul magic to weaken Grundy, Talons, and Kryptonians before consumption 62 88 114.
- Health requirements: Early demons are consumed at 20% health; Talons are reduced below 25% before execution 28 88.
- Digestion limit: Consuming too many supernatural creatures triggers a cooldown; continuing risks bodily explosion 28.
- Magic resistance: At level 2, grants immunity to most magic. This does not prevent all environmental damage: Lynn still loses health in Central City’s freezing conditions 86 128.
- Ghost limitation: Lynn notices that people he kills do not leave ghosts he can consume, but does not establish a definitive explanation 70.
Power of Lao Da and Martial Souls
Power of Lao Da empowers Lynn’s elbow strikes and manifests a muscular martial-soul phantom that attacks alongside him 19 21.
- Close combat: Combines repeated elbows with Iron Mountain Lean and crowd-control skills 27 47 85.
- Additional phantom: Kun Kun’s Basketball supplies Chicken Bro’s martial soul; the Overalls reward automatically adds Ji Ni Tai Mei power to Iron Mountain Lean 27 70.
- Limits: Venom Wolverine can block his elbows when its stats exceed his. Titan Venom-enhanced Batman also withstands them with little damage 21 105.
Time Manipulation
- Bullet Time: Makes incoming bullets and surrounding movement appear nearly frozen, allowing Lynn to dodge and reposition 44 69.
- Nine-second time stop: Used during the Nergal battle to prepare attacks that land together when time resumes. The Dior Brando Character Card expires afterward 34 37.
- Star Platinum: A later named time-stop activation freezes Faora during her charge 96.
- Damage limitation: Stopping time does not guarantee that his weapons can penetrate an opponent’s defenses; his ambush leaves Faora’s armor unharmed 96.
Guaranteed Disarmed Sword Catch and Parry
- Guaranteed Disarmed Sword Catch: Forces opponents to drop their weapons, kneel, and catch his raised blade with clasped hands. Lynn commonly activates it with the Salty Fish Thrust Sword 85 89.
- Limits: Lynn suspects the technique is linked to his strength. Kara breaks free after only a second or two 84 114.
- Parry: Requires charging with a bladed weapon and blocking at the moment of impact to interrupt and briefly stagger an attacker 111.
- Projectile reflection: Returns David Cain’s gunfire with the Salty Fish Thrust Sword 123.
Plant Tentacles
Lynn controls plant growth and produces restraining vines after obtaining Plant Tentacles 62 63.
- Binds Harley, Alfred, and Dick Grayson 63 74.
- Rapidly fills an office with growing plants 63.
- Uses plants to restrain Sharon Carter and Kate 137.
- Deploys Peashooters, Corn Cannons, and Torchwoods against zombie hordes 138.
Healing
- Breath-Based Healing: After 30 seconds out of combat, every breath heals his injuries 52.
- Resurrection Cards: Can restore Lynn himself or bring back the dead. He specifically considers resurrecting Batman’s parents and promises to restore Jason’s parents 2 22.
- Consumables: His inventory includes Blood Packs and First Aid Spray 1 52 133.
Marksmanship and Infiltration
- Beyond-Visual-Range Sniping: Grants shooting ability equal to Deadshot’s 68.
- Heavy weapons: Regularly combines Gatling guns, rockets, and powered armor to overwhelm groups 11 136 138.
- Entry tools: Uses the Master Key to open secured doors and the Tracking Camera to locate Batwoman 54 84 132.
- Silent Step: Listed among his skills; Lynn states that it lets him move as silently as Batwoman 133.
- “Perfect infiltration”: Frequently describes killing the opposition as successful stealth 47 119.
Temporary Powers and Identity Manipulation
- NPC Identity Swap Card: Exchanges appearance, identity, occupation, voice, skills, and other traits with a target for 24 hours, while memories remain separate. Lynn uses it on Bruce Wayne 15.
- Spider-Man Character Card: Grants Spider-Man’s powers for two hours, including demonstrated web use 103.
- John Wick Character Card: Grants tactical-driving mastery for one hour 134.
- Temporary Compound V: Enhances his physical strength and grants temporary superpowers for 24 hours, including golden eye beams 114.
- Later skill inventory: Lists Ripple Breathing, Leap of Faith, Spider-Sense, Energy Absorption level 1, and Charged Punch, without explaining their acquisition in the supplied passages 1.
NPC Recruitment and Affection
Lynn unlocks the recruitment feature by forming the Bat Gang with Harley 40.
- Recruitment: Requires sufficient NPC affection; recruited characters can help complete quests 40.
- Affection 100: Makes the NPC prioritize Lynn and permits him to acquire their skills and retrieve their items. Newly learned skills remain accessible 40.
- Special CGs: Unlocks character-specific intimate spaces or scenes. Harley’s activation reveals that multiple NPC Special CGs can operate simultaneously 53.
- Documented unlocks: Harley, Pamela, and Catwoman 53 81 87.
Equipment / Weapons / Items
- Salty Fish Thrust Sword: An indestructible weapon whose falling salt crystals cause corrosion damage. Faster swings release more salt, while its taunt effect directs enemy attacks toward the fish 19 21.
- Flameflow Blade — destroyed: An evolving holy sword that deals bonus damage to evil creatures. Its final transformation supplies Lynn’s winged holy form, but destroys the blade and attracts Archangel Michael’s attention 25 35 37.
- Powered armor: Uses red-and-gold Iron Man Armor, later Mark 50 armor controlled by F.R.I.D.A.Y., and bulky azure MK1 Thunder-Type Power Armor 21 136 138.
- Flame Demon Set: Grants +10 Strength and access to black magic at the cost of reduced Intelligence 96.
- Modified Barrett M82: Deadshot’s specialized rifle, with a stated effective range exceeding 3,000 meters, 0.1 MOA accuracy, and automatic weak-point aiming 68.
- Anti-Kryptonian weapons: Kryptonite bullets, the Bullet-Bending Gun, and a Kryptonite Greatsword. Lynn retrieves spent kryptonite ammunition because his supply is limited 1 114.
- Dimensional Pocket: Stores items and NPCs. Used to transport his airship-infiltration team and later release the Kryptonian Namek against Zombie Wanda 37 47 143.
- Master Ball: Captures and stores Rolisa, whom Lynn subsequently summons as his pet 62 63.
- One-Eyed Dragon’s Beeper: Marks one person and can summon them across the universe. Lynn uses it to force Kara to join the Bat Gang 38 81.
- Chaos Wand: Randomly produces one of ten effects, potentially transforming enemies, granting protection, replacing matter, or summoning a friendly boss 38.
- Forgetting/Amnesia Potion: Makes NPCs within ten meters forget the preceding five minutes. Lynn uses it to mislead Diana and Kara about the missing nuclear bomb 19 81.
- Control and interrogation tools: The Honesty Medal compels truthful answers; the Super Magnet removes bullets and firearms; the Pleasure Controller produces intense bodily sensations 84 119 128.
- Transformation cards: Uses a Gender-Swap Card and a pregnancy ability card on Batman 105.
- Nuclear bomb: Present in his inventory before the zombie instance, but Lynn admits he does not know how to launch or control it 133.
- Later inventory: Includes a White Lantern Ring, six-stone Infinity Gauntlet, World Engine, Pym Particles, Shazam Staff, Time-Reversal Device, and other items. Their possession is documented, but their use is not shown in the supplied snapshot 1.

Story Role / Major Arcs
Early Gotham Quests
Lynn robs Joker during a bank heist while attempting to provoke Batman, then recruits an armed mugger to help rob Joker again. The mugger is Willis Todd, whose family becomes Lynn’s first sustained personal connection in Gotham 3 7 8.
He subsequently raids the Iceberg Lounge while pursuing a debt-collection quest involving Two-Face. Batman confronts him over his killings, and Lynn counters by exposing Bruce Wayne’s identity and challenging his approach to crime 9 10 11 13.
Outsiders and Venom Wolverine
To investigate newcomers to Gotham, Lynn swaps identities with Bruce and accesses the Batcomputer. His investigation leads to Logan Howlett at Wayne Enterprises and completes the quest that raises him to level 6 14 15 16 19.
He then fights Venom-controlled Zombie Wolverine with Harley’s support. After escalating to Iron Man Armor, he defeats the boss with an A rating and obtains equipment including the Flameflow Blade, Master Ball, and another Resurrection Card 21 23.
Demon City
Lynn takes on a timed quest to eliminate Gotham’s invading demons, using the Flameflow Blade and Feast to grow stronger. Raven joins him, and the group works with Constantine and Chas to confront Belur 26 28 31.
The conflict culminates in Nergal’s descent. Lynn assumes a holy winged form, combines time stop with sword and martial-soul attacks, and banishes the avatar. The victory raises him to level 7 and awards the Dimensional Pocket 35 37.
Founding the Bat Gang
Lynn supports Harley after other villains dismiss her and completes “Form the Bat Gang,” unlocking NPC recruitment. They seize Zeus Securities from the Ventriloquist and establish their base there 40 41.
He later transports Harley, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Deadshot aboard Joker and Riddler’s airship. The crisis ends with an S-rated victory over the Batman Who Laughs Hulk, Kara diverting the falling airship, and Harley’s affection reaching 100 47 52 53.
Deadshot’s Death and Gotham’s Secret Organizations
After Deadshot’s murder, Lynn rescues his family, identifies Mayor Carol’s assassins as responsible, and kills Carol. Further intelligence leads him to destroy the League of Assassins’ Gotham base and bring Talia and Cheshire into the Bat Gang 66 68 69 70 72.
He later infiltrates the Court of Owls, participates in the slaughter of its council, and repeatedly beats the controlled Dick Grayson until Dick recovers his identity. Lynn subsequently defeats Deathstroke while protecting Talia and Cheshire 84 85 89.
Gotham Endgame
Waller sends Lynn to investigate Batman’s apparent plan to destroy Gotham. Breaking into the Batcave, he discovers a nuclear contingency intended for use against Bane’s criminal alliance if Batman loses 74.
When Titan Venom destroys Batman’s sanity and the Crime Syndicate moves to seize Gotham, Batman’s recorded Plan B asks Lynn to intervene. Lynn confronts the crisis, reaches Arkham, and resolves his stalemate with Batman by changing his sex and inducing pregnancy 102 104 105. Bruce subsequently continues operating as Batwoman 109 131.
Kryptonian Conflict and Central City
Lynn escapes Faora with Kara, investigates Superman’s deteriorating condition, and later defeats Faora with an S rating. Aboard the Kryptonian ship, he uses kryptonite, Temporary Compound V, and system weapons to subdue Kara and consume weakened soldiers. A later account credits him with killing Zod using the Bullet-Bending Gun and kryptonite ammunition 96 111 114 145.
In Central City, he defeats Zombie Weather Wizard, kills Captain Cold and takes his Cold Gun, then clears zombies alongside Wonder Woman. Afterward, Death visits Zeus Securities and identifies him as an outsider to the multiverse 128 129.
Marvel Zombies Instance and Return
Lynn enters a zombie-stricken Marvel world set in 2008 with the objective of establishing a Bat Gang branch. He kills Zombie Black Widow, meets Sharon Carter, and reaches the Helicarrier, where recruiting Spider-Man, Kate, and Okoye completes the branch quest 133 136.
His forces combine powered armor, heavy weapons, martial souls, and combat plants against the hordes. Zombie Wanda proves resistant to his weapons, prompting him to release Namek as another attacker 138 143.
Back in Gotham, Lynn recruits Jason and receives a Time-Reversal Device. He refuses another Metropolis investigation until Bruce agrees to settle A.R.G.U.S.’s hundred-million-dollar debt in euros 145.
Trivia
- Lynn dismisses “Dinosaur War God” as a name chosen when he was “young and ignorant,” but Harley continues using it to tease him 145.
- His Bakugan Boy title doubles damage against male enemies’ lower bodies; he objects that the system is defaming him 119.
- His other documented titles include Women’s Friend, which grants bonuses involving women, and Knight of the Night, which grants nighttime bonuses 83 131 133.
- He declares himself “Kayle, the Righteous” before Nergal is banished so that any resulting curse will target that name instead of Lynn 37.
- The later panel records reputation values of 400 in Gotham, 100 with A.R.G.U.S., 70 in Metropolis, and 50 each on Earth-1 and in Central City. His personal funds display as “???” 1.
