Whoosh!!

The holy fire sword slash tore through Belur's afterimage, ripped through the air, and slammed into the wall.

Boom!!

After a thunderous crash, dust flew everywhere, and a clearly visible crack appeared in the wall.

A mass of pitch-black mist gathered atop the Pale Bone Mountain, then took on Belur's form.

His bestial eyes remained fixed on Lynn. Alongside the shock on his face was a trace of bewilderment.

"The power of an angel?"

Belur frowned deeply, red light swirling in his eyes as he studied the man before him, who wore a Bear Head Mask and Iron Armor and held the Flameflow Blade.

"I can sense no magical fluctuations coming from you, yet that sword contains a sacred power similar to an angel's... could you be a descendant some angel left behind in the mortal world?"

"I have a question. Why would you demons come to a hellhole like Gotham?" Lynn asked curiously.

This Belur was considerably stronger than the small-fry demons he had encountered before. He had cast black magic and dodged the attack in an instant. He had to be at least an Elite Monster.

"This place is full of talent, and it's where hope and despair converge. For us demons, it's an excellent place to harvest souls," Belur explained.

"But isn't coming to Gotham basically the same as eating shit for you demons?"

Lynn swung the Flameflow Blade, a mocking smile spreading across his face as he taunted him:

"The water here has all kinds of bizarre stuff in it, and underground, there are even countless curses from evil gods and Hell Lords. You demons actually dare to come here... do you really enjoy eating shit that much?"

"..."

At those words, Belur's expression froze. Then a cruel smile emerged on his hideous face.

"Boy, I don't know why you possess an angel's weapon, but provoking a high-ranking demon like this... do you know the consequences?"

Constantine and Raven immediately moved to shield Lynn behind them, their muscles tensed and their expressions utterly vigilant.

Lynn raised an eyebrow, checked the Blood Packs and Resurrection Cards in his system inventory, then gave the demon before him a strange look.

"Consequences? You're an NPC, and you're talking to a player about consequences? You want to take on a player like me? Do you even have what it takes?"

"Fine, fine, fine!" Belur repeated, his cruel smile growing even more sinister.

"Since you're so eager to die, I'll take your soul first... I hope you won't beg for mercy when you're being tortured!"

Lynn put away the Flameflow Blade and casually pulled his Rocket Launcher and Vulcan Gatling Gun from his system inventory.

"In that case, I'll get serious too."

He shouldered the Rocket Launcher with one hand and braced the Vulcan Gatling Gun with the other. Both dark muzzles pointed straight at Belur, giving off a heavy smell of gunpowder.

At the sight, Belur couldn't help sneering.

"Mortal, you don't seriously think these ordinary weapons will work on me, do you?"

Lynn grinned, his smile even more innocent than a snow leopard's.

"What if every bullet and shell I have is made of pure silver?"

Belur said, "...Fuck!"

In the DC Universe, most demons and vampires feared silver, holy water, and sacred power.

Even as a Greater Demon, Belur shared that weakness.

Ratatatat!!

The instant he saw Belur's expression freeze, Lynn pulled the triggers.

The two deadly weapons erupted with dazzling flashes, unleashing terrifying firepower on Belur ahead.

Bullets and shells mingled into a torrent of steel, blasting the corpses and the Pale Bone Mountain ahead into rubble. Even the wall collapsed under the barrage in an instant.

Boom, boom, boom!!

The shells razed the room to the ground, until smoke filled the air and no further sound came from within.

Constantine stared at the shattered wall and room, his face twitching.

How had this guy pulled a Gatling gun and a rocket launcher out of thin air?

Raven's beautiful eyes sparkled as she looked at the man in the Bear Head Mask ahead, wondering what kind of face lay beneath it.

Of everyone she had met, Lynn was the most unusual. His fighting style was completely different from anyone else's.

Much of the time, she only needed to stand to one side and provide support.

He made her feel completely safe.

"Is he dead?" Raven asked curiously, staring into the thick smoke ahead.

Lynn shook his head. "No."

The smoke soon scattered in the wind, revealing a tall, burly silhouette.

Belur was riddled with bloody holes, his expression black as thunder. His eyes were fixed on Lynn as though he wanted to devour him.

"Damn you, mortal. Do you know who you're facing?"

Lynn examined the wounds all over Belur's body, a disdainful look appearing on his face.

"An Elite Monster is still just an Elite Monster. You're not even as good as the Venom Wolverine I fought last time. At least bullets and shells couldn't hurt him."

"How dare you! A mere mortal...!"

Belur flew into a rage.

He charged straight up to Lynn, then thrust off with his powerful legs. The demon leaped into the air, his massive body plunging toward Lynn with the crushing weight of a mountain.

Clearly, this demon intended to use his sheer bulk to teach Lynn what a Greater Demon's wrath meant.

There was no denying that, as a high-ranking demon, his speed was astonishing, and his strength was far beyond that of any ordinary person.

Had Constantine faced this attack, he probably would have been caught off guard.

Unfortunately for him, he was facing Lynn.

Lynn promptly put away the Rocket Launcher and Gatling gun, then took the Transformation Stick from his system inventory.

With a casual wave of the Transformation Stick, a rainbow-colored light instantly enveloped Belur.

Almost instantly, the obese, Bojack-like demon standing over three meters tall was turned into a carrot by the Transformation Stick.

The carrot landed squarely on the ground and rolled in front of Chas, where it lay motionless.

Raven, who had been worrying that Lynn might get hurt, saw this and immediately widened her blue-green eyes.

"OMG, what kind of magic is that?" Her face was full of surprise and curiosity.

She had seen magic that turned objects into food, but she had never even heard of magic that could turn a high-ranking demon into food.

And she wasn't the only one. Even Constantine and Chas beside her

froze at the sight.

Constantine stared hard at the carrot on the ground, his eyes widening.

"What the fuck! There's actually magic that can turn a high-ranking demon into a carrot?"

Only Chas looked worried as he gazed at the carrot on the ground and asked:

"This guy's transformation won't only last a few seconds... right?"

Before he could finish, Belur changed back from a carrot and stood firmly in front of Chas, a cruel smile on his face.

"Surprise mother f**ker!"

Chas said, "..."
