"What a pain!"
Hidan had thought he was just taking a group of ordinary people out. How hard could it be?
As it turned out, it really wasn't simple.
First, the pitch-black surroundings caused them a great deal of trouble. Second, anything could happen while moving thousands of people.
Some tripped and fell, some got separated from their families, some cried out loudly, and some cursed viciously...
Hidan was utterly fed up, but he couldn't just abandon these people.
So, with a cold expression, he could only hand out the glowing fluorite he carried, distributing one piece at intervals so that at least those behind could see some light ahead and wouldn't get lost.
If Shinji had been there, he would definitely have seen this guy in a new light!
Had his brain suddenly started working?
But although his idea sounded good, all sorts of problems emerged once he actually put it into practice.
First, human nature was selfish. In pitch darkness, people instinctively pursued light, so a crowd gathered around every lucky person who received a piece of fluorite.
Then people began to wonder: why should something so important be in his or her hands?
What if they lost it?
What if they fell behind?
If I got my hands on it, wouldn't I be able to get out by myself, as long as I could see my surroundings?
The moment that thought arose, the atmosphere abruptly changed.
Especially when the first person snatched the fluorite from a young girl's hands. Conflict erupted immediately!
"What are you doing?" the girl shouted anxiously.
The others immediately joined in, confronting him.
But the man merely sneered calmly. "Heh, can you really feel at ease leaving something this important in some little girl's hands?"
Some were immediately at a loss for words.
