When Shinji finally returned, the first things he saw were scattered glimmers of light and a crowd running around aimlessly in the darkness.
After a moment's thought, he embedded all his remaining fluorite high up on the walls, barely providing some illumination.
This finally allowed him to locate Hidan!
He froze for a moment at the sight of Hidan, who had been hacked to pieces.
Instead of going to save Hidan immediately, he took out the [Greedy Eyeball] again. The corpses scattered around could come in handy now.
After eating its fill, the [Greedy Eyeball] began scanning the surroundings, trying to find the hidden cursed spirit.
Strangely, however, its feedback showed no cursed spirits at all.
Did it flee after "killing" Hidan?
