Tobi pointed at the barbecue restaurant beside them, waggling his eyebrows.
Three black lines appeared on Shinji's forehead. If he wanted barbecue, he could just say so. What the hell was with all the secrecy and suggestiveness?
"If you want it, go eat it. Try making me guess again, and I'll cut out your kidneys to go with my drinks."
"Leave it to me!" Hidan whipped out a small knife with a sinister grin.
Tobi hastily stumbled back several steps, nervously covering his kidneys.
Ignoring the bickering pair, Shinji led everyone straight into the restaurant, asked for a large table, and ordered a huge pile of meat and kidneys.
Tobi felt like crying but had no tears, terrified that if they ran out of kidneys, his would be used to make up the difference.
Farther behind Shinji and the others, in a spot screened off by a half wall, two others were also eating hearty mouthfuls of meat and taking big swigs of alcohol.
And from the flushed cheeks and slightly unfocused eyes, it was clear that quite a lot had already been drunk.
"Have a drink too, Shizune. No need to be polite!"
Shizune held a little pig, looking helpless and guilty.
"Lady Tsunade, we don't have enough money anymore."
"What are you afraid of? We can just write the owner an IOU."
Tsunade suddenly moved over and slung an arm around Shizune's shoulders, then slurped down a mouthful of alcohol and exhaled in satisfaction.
"Ah~~ That hits the spot!"
"I don't think this place allows tabs. If you keep eating without paying, it'll damage your reputation."
Shizune was deeply conflicted. Besides, this was different from owing gambling debts.
