Hudi's enormous body slammed straight into the middle of the group. He held a spiked club he had gotten from who knew where, even though his hands had clearly been empty before.
Han apparently hadn't expected his opponent to fight so dirty and suddenly pull out a weapon, catching him completely off guard.
"Vibration Spirit Curse Technique: Jade Shatter!"
Hudi suddenly grinned viciously, then raised the spiked club high and smashed it into the ground beneath his feet.
The earth shook. Huge cracks spread out from beneath Hudi's feet at tremendous speed, as though they would swallow everyone.
The ground rapidly collapsed.
Shinji and the others immediately scattered and retreated, as did Deidara and Sasori.
Even the slower Hidan and Sasuke were brought out. Otherwise, there was no telling what would happen if they were buried underground.
Yet Hudi had no idea what terrifying enemies this move had earned him.
Shinji and Sasori's conversation had been very unpleasant just now. If their standoff had continued, anything could have happened.
But Hudi's interference instead gave both sides a way out.
You fucking attacked me. Am I not allowed to hit back?
Exactly. This wasn't cooperation, but retaliation!
It was an unspoken understanding that nobody wanted to point out.
"Humans are the vermin of this world. Let me clean every last one of you out!"
Hudi stood in the deep pit he had deliberately created and laughed.
"You shameless braggart! I'll blow you to pieces today! Ha!"
An irritated Deidara attacked first. All sorts of Explosive Spiders and Explosive Grasshoppers swarmed the enemy as though they cost nothing.
That counted as firing the opening shot!
But Hudi didn't even glance at these little things, allowing them to crawl all over him. Even when a huge Explosive Centipede emerged from underground and
