Drobada checked the time, preparing to get the team in formation again.
"Sorry to have kept you waiting."
A voice that was not particularly loud but rang out clearly reached his ears. Startled, he quickly looked up.
A young man with a smile on his face came into view.
He stood around 195 centimeters tall and wore a bespoke black suit, his footsteps utterly silent.
"You must be Dio. Heroes really do emerge young. A pleasure to meet you."
Drobada stepped forward to shake his hand, exchanging pleasantries while inwardly reeling:
His [Zetsu] is incredible. He only released his aura once he was right in front of me. He probably meant to show off his strength, too.
Dio warmly shook his hand and said:
"Not at all. Mizaistom told me you're the expert in this field. I'll assist you throughout the mission. Here's to working well together."
He, too, quietly studied the man before him. Drobada stood around 185 centimeters tall, with powerful muscles, an athletic build, and a sharp, vigilant gaze. However, the uneven [Ten] around his body showed that his mastery of Nen was not particularly advanced.
Dio had not actually intended to intimidate him. He had deliberately approached Drobada using [Zetsu] simply to test the results of his training.
He usually had no one to practice with. Against Nen experts like Cheadle and Netero, his [Zetsu] was no better than a three-year-old's.
The results of this test were fairly satisfying. All the effort he had poured into [Zetsu] had not been wasted.
Drobada nodded, then turned and sternly commanded the row of black-clad men behind him:
"Move out!"
It was 8:50 a.m. on August 24. Dio would board an airship with this team of black-clad men and head to Flin Airport in the Kakin Empire.
Before their departure, Mizaistom had already briefed him on the mission's details. Dio had also asked him for a large-caliber handgun.
As the only Nen user on this mission besides their captain, Drobada, Dio would serve as deputy captain.
On this mission, the Royal Guard would handle the Twelfth Prince's close protection, including escorting the prince on outings and tasting food. Their team would only handle perimeter security and guard against possible outside attacks.
Three Private Soldiers dispatched by the Fourth Prince of the Kakin Kingdom would also accompany them on the mission, but those men would handle their own security.
