Ch. 102FH911-Style × Shizuku's Death

Shizuku died after using Blinky to spit out Chrollo’s FH911-Style Bomb, which Dio redirected with Time Stop. Dio reassessed Blinky as a formidable ability, then Vincent hurriedly lifted him into the air as scalding syrup poured from a damaged factory container.

  • Shizuku, fatally wounded, remembered Chrollo’s order and had Blinky spit out the FH911-Style Bomb.
  • Dio used Time Stop to knock the bomb behind Shizuku, and its explosion fatally burned her.
  • Shizuku mistook Dio for Chrollo, apologized for being late, and died at 7:30; Blinky spat out a large white radish as it vanished.
  • Dio put away his pistol, reconsidered his assessment of Blinky, and picked up the radish.
  • Vincent told Dio not to resist and used a strong wind to lift him as scalding syrup poured from a damaged container.

Ch. 103Black Tide × Heavy rain began to fall

After a syrup tank ruptured, Dio and Vincent raced to evacuate people before millions of liters flooded the street. Dio continued throwing residents into the air for Vincent to carry to safety, but the syrup tide kept advancing behind them.

  • Vincent estimated the tank held nearly eight million liters of syrup, and Dio explained that the factory’s new director planned to end the Memorial Day candy custom.
  • The crack widened, so Dio ordered an evacuation and Vincent used his wind ability to carry residents away from the tank.
  • Dio dragged the Wolniu Supermarket cashier into the gale and tossed her into the air, where Vincent’s wind carried her west as the black-brown syrup tide swallowed the supermarket.
  • Dio asked Misty to make it rain so the freezing weather could solidify the syrup, then hurried to rescue the last people he detected.
  • Dio found Luren and another man with five children nearby, grabbed Luren and the man, and threw them into the air for Vincent to carry to safety.

Ch. 104An unexpected intervention × What was his goal?

Dio saved Luren and five children from a rushing wave of hot Syrup, while Hisoka unexpectedly intervened to pull the children out of danger. After Dio healed a girl’s injury, he and Hisoka agreed to meet and talk, each curious about the other’s intentions.

  • Dio tossed Luren and an unfamiliar Nen user into the air, then used Ripple to lift five children out of the path of the Syrup as rain began cooling it.
  • As the wave slowed, blobs of hot Syrup flew toward the children, and Hisoka used Bungee Gum to pull them to safety.
  • Dio followed the group through Vincent’s ventilation field and used Ripple to heal the little girl burned by the Syrup.
  • Luren thanked Dio and Hisoka for saving the children, while Dio questioned Hisoka’s unexpected help.
  • Hisoka suggested that he and Dio find somewhere to catch up, and Dio agreed because he wanted to learn what Hisoka was planning.

Ch. 105A downpour just for you × Hisoka's betrayal

Dio confronted Hisoka after he saved some children, and Hisoka proposed betraying the Phantom Troupe in exchange for a chance to kill Chrollo himself. Dio remained wary and asked about a purple-haired member after revealing that the Spider's Number Eight had died by suicide.

  • Hisoka hid the injuries Dio had inflicted on him with Texture Surprise and chose not to fight while he was still recovering.
  • Dio followed Hisoka to an open space and soaked him with a personal downpour before asking what he wanted.
  • Hisoka offered to reveal the Phantom Troupe's secrets and help Dio kill its members if Dio left Chrollo for him.
  • Dio said he would not trust Hisoka without proof of his sincerity.
  • Hisoka offered information about Number Eight, but Dio said Number Eight had already died by suicide and asked whether a purple-haired member had come.

Ch. 106Laying it all out × One day left

Dio secured Hisoka’s cooperation to hunt Chrollo and learned what Hisoka knew about the Phantom Troupe’s mission. As Cheadle prepared for further surgery, Luren organized help to clear the syrup and repair the factory boiler before winter.

  • Dio asked Hisoka whether Machi was in Pati City and concluded Chrollo probably could not quickly reattach his severed arm.
  • Dio and Hisoka sealed a deal: Hisoka would share what he knew, Dio would kill the other Phantom Troupe members, and Hisoka would kill Chrollo.
  • Hisoka described Chrollo’s mission to steal a gemstone and named several Troupe members involved, including Pakunoda, Shalnark, and Kuhua.
  • Luren worried that the syrup disaster had ruined the city’s candy supply and damaged the boiler that kept homeless people warm through winter.
  • Luren sent five children to recruit scrap collectors, called the striking workers’ leader, and then phoned someone he thought could help clear the syrup.

Ch. 107A sword untouched by wind and snow × The clever uses of a Nen Beast

Jialuo survived his escape with his sword hand and left eye ruined, then stole dog food to regain enough strength for one last strike. Meanwhile, Dio secured Hisoka’s cooperation by placing a Nen Beast inside his body and gave him a radish to deliver to Chrollo as Number Eight’s possession.

  • Jialuo woke in a Pati City alley, realized his sword hand was gone, and found the broken Yuan Zhi beside him.
  • Jialuo kicked aside a stray dog and ate its food to recover his strength for one last strike.
  • Dio doubted Hisoka’s proposed deal and offered to agree if Hisoka let a miniature Nen Beast enter his body.
  • Hisoka cut open his chest with a playing card and invited Dio’s Nen Beast inside, allowing it to wrap around his heart.
  • Dio handed Hisoka a radish to give Chrollo, saying it belonged to Number Eight.

Ch. 108The Hunter Association's reinforcements × Putting Pakunoda on trial!

Mizaistom planned to publicly execute the captured Pakunoda to damage the Phantom Troupe’s reputation, while gathering Zodiac allies and other fighters to prepare for the gang’s likely rescue attempt. Shalnark, unable to contact Chrollo, called in Phantom Troupe members and then learned that Pakunoda had been captured and would be executed tomorrow.

  • Mizaistom kept Pakunoda imprisoned with Cheadle’s paralytic toxin and decided to make her public execution a blow against the Phantom Troupe.
  • Mizaistom arranged for Zodiac colleagues and other allies to defend the execution, expecting the Phantom Troupe to attack.
  • Shalnark worried that Chrollo and the others had gone missing, but decided to stay and contact Phantom Troupe members who could reach Pati City.
  • Shalnark received a Hunter Association notice that a Phantom Troupe member had been captured and would be publicly executed the next afternoon.

Ch. 109A turn for the better! × Mission assignments

Chrollo returned to the hospital morgue with Pakunoda and Kuhua, learned that the operation’s target was being treated nearby, and prepared a plan using the corpses. Meanwhile, Dio and Cheadle guarded [Flawless Sage], unaware that Dio was concealing his own objective.

  • Chrollo met Pakunoda and Kuhua in the morgue, asked them to contact the others, and said he would need Kuhua’s ability.
  • Chrollo used [Love Dial 6700] to confirm that the target was likely in the hospital, then used [Skill Hunter] and Kuhua’s [Gallery Fake] to prepare copies of corpses.
  • Dio told Cheadle what had happened outside while hiding his conversation with Hisoka and his next plan.
  • Dio and Cheadle returned to the medical unit and confirmed that [Flawless Sage] and the patient were still there.
  • Cheadle said she would support Mizaistom after the mission while Dio guarded the Gem with Vincent, and Dio silently looked at her.

Ch. 110Dio's secret × Kortopi and Hisoka's encounter in a public restroom

Dio questioned Cheadle’s decision to keep him at the hospital, while Kortopi hid nearby with the real Gem as Chrollo remained concealed inside. Hisoka encountered Kortopi in a public restroom and told him that Shizuku was dead, leaving Kortopi stunned with the radish she had bought.

  • Dio wondered whether Cheadle had seen through his plans, but he hid his suspicions and blamed his distant expression on insomnia.
  • Chrollo remained hidden beneath the hospital bed in his [Membrane Man] form while Kortopi monitored the room from outside with a duplicated Gem.
  • Hisoka entered the restroom where Kortopi was hiding, considered killing him, then decided against it because of his deal with Dio.
  • Hisoka told Kortopi that Shizuku had died and gave him the white radish she had left behind.
  • Kortopi clutched the radish in shock and remembered that he used carrots, not white radishes, for beef brisket stew.

Ch. 111The leader faces execution × One crisis after another

Machi rushed toward Pati City after Shalnark warned that the leader might be publicly executed, while Shalnark and Pakunoda gathered the few Phantom Troupe members who could arrive in time. Chrollo escaped Dio and Cheadle’s hospital ward, learned Pakunoda was the intended execution target, and decided to rescue her before dealing with Shizuku’s death.

  • Machi raced toward Pati City, convinced Shalnark’s warning about the leader’s possible execution might be true.
  • Shalnark told Pakunoda that only three Troupe members could arrive in time, explaining that he had used the leader’s possible execution to persuade Uvogin and Nobunaga to come.
  • Dio and Cheadle prepared to finish the surgery around five the next morning, and Dio resolved to return and steal the Gem afterward.
  • Chrollo escaped from the ward and learned that Pakunoda would be publicly executed the next day, so he chose to rescue her rather than leave with the Gem.
  • Chrollo met Kuhua, learned that Shizuku had died after apparently being forced to commit suicide, and resolved to investigate what happened.

Ch. 112The Gem was fake! × Dio's killing intent

After finishing their operation, Dio and Cheadle handed the Gem [Flawless Sage] to Vincent, only for it to vanish before their eyes. Dio realized the Phantom Troupe had likely used Kortopi’s ability to replace it and left to support Mizaistom, newly enraged at the theft.

  • Cheadle and Dio completed the final operation and packed away the patient’s organs and the spike that produced [Black Flow Fluid].
  • Vincent arrived to take possession of [Flawless Sage], but the Gem disappeared as he opened its box.
  • Dio searched the area with [En] and Ripple Radar, then found Hisoka hiding behind a wall; Vincent suspected Hisoka, but Dio ruled him out.
  • Hisoka mentioned finding Kortopi, prompting Dio to infer that the Phantom Troupe had used [Gallery Fake] to replace the Gem the previous morning.
  • Dio told Vincent he would help recover the Gem after supporting Mizaistom, then vaulted over the wall and left with Cheadle.

Ch. 113Vincent's betrayal? × The road to hell

Vincent plotted to steal the three nails from Cheadle, but a fungus-infected creature interrupted them and Cheadle traded him the case so she could confront the outbreak. She descended into the morgue to find the infected and seek a way to stop the fungus.

  • Vincent considered stealing the nails in Cheadle's case to win favor with Beyond, but Cheadle noticed his interest.
  • A terrified man fled an alley as a white, fungus-covered humanoid emerged and froze in the sunlight.
  • Vincent offered to carry Cheadle's case, and Cheadle grew a replacement tongue before confronting him about the nails.
  • Cheadle gave Vincent the case and ordered him to help Dio, then collected a sample from the creature and drove it into the morgue.
  • Cheadle put on her [Sterile Gown] and descended the dark staircase toward the infected, hoping to cultivate a fungus that could consume the outbreak.

Ch. 114Clearing the battlefield × Flying Nimbus (Mist)

Mizaistom and Ginta prepared East Lake Prison for the enemy’s expected attack, while protesters gathered nearby despite orders to clear the area. Dio arrived on the Atmosphere Creator and drove the civilians away with a freezing downpour, leaving the three Hunters to wait for the trap to be sprung.

  • Mizaistom adjusted the prison’s livestreaming equipment and confirmed that the guards had been sent home as Ginta arrived.
  • Ginta warned Mizaistom that protesters were gathering near East Lake, despite the city’s order keeping people ten kilometers from the prison.
  • Mizaistom spotted the protesters and then saw Dio’s dark clouds approaching, deciding that Dio could resolve the danger to the civilians.
  • Dio rode the Atmosphere Creator above the protesters and summoned a heavy, icy rain that scattered them from the streets around East Lake.
  • At 9:10 a.m., Dio meditated in the sky, Ginta waited outside the prison, and Mizaistom watched the camera as they prepared for the enemy’s arrival.

Ch. 115All-out war × The unexpected

Jialuo headed toward East Lake Prison as the Phantom Troupe prepared to attack, while Mizaistom began the live broadcast before the scheduled execution. When Pakunoda suddenly regained movement, Mizaistom struck her and invoked his prohibition ability.

  • Jialuo accepted a raincoat from a little beggar from Lupo and continued toward East Lake through the gathering storm.
  • Chrollo warned Shalnark and Machi to avoid the powerful man with the golden fist, and Machi finished stitching a passerby's arm onto Chrollo.
  • The Phantom Troupe detected Uvogin and the others arriving, then Chrollo and Machi headed toward East Lake while Shalnark entered a manhole.
  • Mizaistom introduced himself and Bonolenov Ndongo during the prison's live broadcast, intending to kill Pakunoda when the enemy attacked.
  • After Ginta's roar announced the attack, Pakunoda opened her eyes and surged with Aura, but Mizaistom punched her and shouted that all violence was prohibited.

Ch. 116Ginta vs. Uvogin × He Killed Himself

Mizaistom restrained Pakunoda just as her [Jupiter] ability activated, causing her to die from her own attack. Meanwhile, Ginta charged Uvogin and Nobunaga, overpowering Uvogin's [Big Bang Impact] before Nobunaga struck at his throat.

  • Pakunoda activated [Jupiter], but Mizaistom used [Restraint] to trap her, and the summoned attack killed her.
  • A massive sword slash split the rain and destroyed East Lake Prison.

Ginta paralyzed Nobunaga with a green lightning-like attack and punched him away, while Dio searched the battlefield for the Phantom Troupe. Dio found Shalnark and Kortopi, killed Kortopi, and asked Shalnark where Chrollo was.

  • Nobunaga chose to finish his sword attack despite the green light, but Ginta dodged his slash and paralyzed him with a lightning-like blow.
  • Ginta punched Nobunaga away, enraging Uvogin, then plunged toward the ground while Uvogin roared that he would kill him.
  • Dio swept the battlefield with [En] and [Ripple Radar] and spotted the hiding Shalnark and Kortopi.

  • Dio questioned Shalnark while Hisoka arrived and challenged Dio over his interest in Chrollo.
  • Shalnark realized Hisoka was working with Dio and resolved to activate Auto-Operation Mode if an opening appeared.
  • Jialuo lost his sight permanently, awakened the sword intent of [Swallow Style], and approached the black tower.
  • Jialuo swung his broken sword toward East Lake, sending a powerful sword light toward Dio.
  • Shalnark activated Auto-Operation Mode, kicked Hisoka away, and charged at Dio as Jialuo's attack came down.
  • Dio summoned [The World], stopped time, and moved Shalnark into the sword light’s path.

Ch. 119Shalnark in two halves × A master digger

Jialuo’s final sword strike killed Shalnark, split East Lake Prison, and shattered into a storm of sword light over East Lake Square. Dio dug underground for shelter, while Hisoka remained exposed as the bombardment began.

  • Shalnark’s Auto-Operation Mode failed to block Jialuo’s slash, and the sword light cut him in two.
  • Dio recognized Jialuo as the swordsman whose broken sword he had seen before, then told Hisoka to find Chrollo and fight him.
  • Jialuo’s sword light cleaved East Lake Prison in two, then soared into the sky and burst into countless streaks aimed at East Lake Square and the lake.
  • Dio dug a deep pit and hid underground as the sword-light bombardment shook East Lake.
  • Hisoka sprang away from Dio’s sudden Ren but remained above ground as the attack struck.

Ch. 120Swearing on a Nen Ability × Giving You Everything

Dio’s sword rain battered the Spiders while Ginta held off Uvogin and his companion, and Mizaistom investigated why the prison was spared. Inside the ruins, Jack awakened as the poison wore off, saw a vision of Jialuo, and surrendered his body before a sinister Nen Aura erupted; Mizaistom moved toward it, preparing to respond.

  • Dio’s sword aura rained down around East Lake Prison as Ginta used [Beast of Calm] to fend off Uvogin and his companion.
  • Mizaistom noticed that the sword rain avoided the prison and went into the ruins to investigate.
