With Kite's introduction, Joey met the Hunter Association's physician, Sambika, who was also a One-Star Virus Hunter.
His conversation with Sambika was quite pleasant. Joey did all the talking, while Sambika simply handed him slips of paper with sentences written on them for him to read.
Overall, their communication went fairly smoothly, if he ignored the fact that the entire exchange lasted only one minute and thirty-one seconds.
"So, Miss Sambika is very introverted and doesn't like talking." As they walked out of the Hunter Association building, Kite gave an answer that made Joey grit his teeth a little.
Joey spread his hands. "Fine, I can understand someone with social anxiety, but what's this supposed to be?"
Joey pointed at the Ginger Cat in his arms, looking helpless.
This was the Ginger Cat he had created from a coin using Gold Experience. The kitten was meowing now, but it could no longer turn back into the coin it had been before Gold Experience.
And that was all thanks to Sambika. She had applied her ability to the Gold Experience kitten, along with a tube of virus.
What Joey had seen was Sambika sticking a Conjuration needle into the kitten's body and injecting a strange liquid into it.
Then the kitten, which had originally still been able to turn back into a coin, had entered its current uncontrollable state.
Joey had wanted to discuss how she had done it with her, but she had simply shoved the kitten and a set of documents into his arms, then turned and run away.
