Chapter 259: Luring Them In × The Family Base × Playing It Safe
Joey saw Hisoka's clone get punched away by Phinks, but he had no intention of helping. Instead, he turned and ran out of the cinema even faster.
Likewise, Hisoka's clone, who had crashed into the screen, did not reappear. He had clearly taken the opportunity to run outside as well.
What surprised Joey, however, was that when he crossed several nearly transparent Nen Threads and rushed out of the cinema, no members of the Phantom Troupe pursued him.
It seemed the Phantom Troupe had gotten smarter.
Still, that was no problem. Joey and Hisoka had already accounted for the possibility that all three would pursue them together.
Otherwise, they would not have planned to lure them into the Ai Yi Yi Family's base.
Morena's ability had given her a great many subordinates with special abilities. Those subordinates gave her both the means to stay hidden and a sufficient sense of security.
The last time Joey had gone looking for Morena, he had already vaguely noticed something unusual about the Ai Yi Yi Family's hiding place.
Now that Hisoka had brought him a more detailed map, he naturally understood what would happen if he led the Phantom Troupe near the Ai Yi Yi Family.
Both he and Hisoka's clone were moving in very clear directions, barely even trying to conceal their intentions.
This was an open ploy!
They were telling the Phantom Troupe that they intended to lead them somewhere. If they had the guts, they could follow!
The three Phantom Troupe members gathered in the cinema looked anything but pleased.
"From our encounter, Joey should be a clone," Franklin, who had engaged Joey, gave his assessment.
"Hisoka should be a clone too," Phinks reached the same conclusion.
