What Joey and the others needed to confirm was the true location of their opponent's "seeds."
As long as they could confirm that the seeds invaded from outside, producing a piercing effect that looked as though something had blossomed from within, they could think of ways to counter it.
After all, an invasion from outside offered far more options than seeds appearing directly inside the body.
In the camera footage, frost slowly appeared over the God Script Boar, but nothing particularly unusual was visible. Just as the frost completely covered its body and the golden-headed Brion appeared, Ging told Piyon to pause.
The people gathered in front of the computer all began carefully examining the God Script Boar's frozen body.
And under their concentrated scrutiny, they did indeed discover something.
"Something seems to have appeared on the pigskin along with the frost, but it's so tiny that it's hard to see," Joey said, rubbing his eyes after a long examination.
They had the incredible resolution of Piyon's cameras to thank for being able to spot anything unusual.
The technology was already practically an entire era ahead of its time, and they had only found this slight anomaly because Piyon kept using her ability to sharpen the paused image.
As Joey spoke, the footage advanced another frame, and that single frame abruptly changed what they saw.
Fine, hairlike traces appeared over the frost, spreading not only outward from it but also inward into the pigskin.
Ging's guess had been confirmed again. Brion's seeds broke in from outside and blossomed inside living organisms!
As the footage
