The primary function of a Tracking Talisman was, naturally, to track a target.
These talismans actually existed in pairs. One could be used to sense the approximate location of the other, rather like magnets attracting each other.
Giving Kagura two now meant Li Xia held their two counterparts. As long as Kagura tore up either one, one of the two corresponding talismans on his side would quickly react. Then he could follow the trail using the remaining talisman and find Naraku's Demon Heart.
Naraku might have been full of schemes, and this time he had even brazenly come to ambush and kill Kikyo and Kagome.
He seemed to have nothing to fear.
In truth, that bastard really was unafraid of having most of his physical body destroyed. As long as his Demon Heart, Akago, remained, and as long as a sliver of Naraku's will survived elsewhere, he could make a comeback.
And demon bodies? This land had no shortage of those.
