His hand speed was second to none.
It was so fast that Inuyasha only had time to scream, and then... one of his teeth was gone.
And just as with the Dog General back then, the missing tooth was the one in his upper left jaw.
"Aaah..."
Along with that scream, the volcanic crater where Totosai lived erupted with a great gush of lava.
"Old man, what are you doing? Why did you pull out my tooth?"
Inuyasha demanded, on the verge of tears.
Now air seemed to whistle through the gap when he spoke.
He instinctively wanted to punch Totosai and give him a knock on the head, but the moment he raised his fist, he forced himself to stop.
He knew perfectly well that whether Tessaiga could be repaired depended entirely on this man.
Totosai was already doing him quite a favor by agreeing to repair Tessaiga. Never mind. As long as Tessaiga could be fixed, what did losing a few more teeth matter?
