Ch. 41Impmon kept pushing his luck

Wizard Mo Yan confronted Impmon and admitted that he had suppressed the Digimon cards and evolution, explaining his hostility toward human surveillance. The children struggled to understand his identity and motives before he linked his teleportation spell to Impmon’s and vanished with him.

  • Impmon tried to escape with a makeshift teleportation spell, but Wizard Mo Yan noticed it and secretly set its destination.
  • Wizard Mo Yan confirmed to Takato Matsuki, Rika Makino, and Li Jianliang that he had evolved on his own and caused the earlier displays of power.
  • Wizard Mo Yan said he disliked being watched by humans and had no reason to fear their forces, leaving the children unable to answer him.
  • Li Jianliang declared that Wizard Mo Yan was not Mo Yan, and Wizard Mo Yan replied that he was and was not.

Ch. 42Impmon's evolution

Impmon fought Dark Impmon, a copy created from the fears and memories he had buried, inside the chaos of the Four Elements Crystal Ball. As Wizard Mo Yan watched, Impmon confronted his painful memories of Xiao Ai and A Zhen, and Mo Yan prepared Evolution Light as Impmon’s resolve solidified.

  • Impmon fled through a dark space while a Digimon with data identical to his pursued and taunted him.
  • Dark Impmon revealed that he was born from the fear and darkness in Impmon’s heart, and the two began trading attacks.
  • Dark Impmon brought up Xiao Ai and A Zhen’s fight over Impmon, reviving Impmon’s memory of fleeing after seeing them tear apart a teddy bear.
  • Impmon and Dark Impmon fought hand to hand, each badly wounded as they tried to vent their anger and fear.
  • Wizard Mo Yan watched through the Crystal Ball and explained that he had created Dark Impmon to make Impmon face his inner fears.
  • Seeing Impmon’s resolve become complete, Wizard Mo Yan conjured a ball of Evolution Light.

Ch. 43Evolution complete, Impmon's rebirth

Impmon confronted the Dark Impmon born from his own past and chose to stop running from his fears. After absorbing Dark Impmon and a mass of white light, Impmon evolved into Wizardmon.

  • Dark Impmon knocked Impmon down and taunted him for running from his problems, but Impmon declared he would face Xiao Ai and A Zhen.
  • Impmon recalled Mo Yan's lessons about magic and cast Dark Night Barrier to withstand Dark Impmon's fireballs.
  • Dark Impmon summoned Dark Night Fire Rain, but Impmon seized control of the data in the space and approached him.
  • Impmon explained that Digimon could evolve into more complete versions of themselves, then embraced Dark Impmon.
  • Dark Impmon dissolved into light and entered Impmon, followed by a mass of white light, and Impmon digivolved into Wizardmon.

Ch. 44Teacher and Student

Wizardmon evolved from Impmon and discussed Digimon evolution with Wizard Mo Yan, who explained why Wizardmon’s original form was the best starting point for studying subspecies forms. The chapter ended with Wizard Mo Yan revealing that the Twelve Digicores represented divine power and the Digital World’s blessing.

  • Impmon evolved into Wizardmon, retaining his red scarf around his upper arm, and sensed something strange about the space around him.
  • Wizardmon greeted Wizard Mo Yan as his teacher, and Mo Yan asked what he had learned about Digimon evolution.
  • Wizard Mo Yan explained that Digimon evolved through data and that evolution preserved their ability to grow, change, and influence many worlds.
  • Wizardmon questioned why Mo Yan had suppressed his evolution, and Mo Yan explained that Transfer Evolution was easier from an original form to a subspecies.
  • Wizardmon asked what the Twelve Digicores meant, and Wizard Mo Yan said they were a facet of divine power and a blessing from the Digital World.

Ch. 45The Access Authorization Mark for Mo Yan's Knowledge Treasury

Wizard Mo Yan explained the meaning of divine titles and the burdens Digimon faced as intelligent life, then gave Wizardmon a mark granting access to his Knowledge Treasury. Wizardmon received the authorization and learned what it was for.

  • Wizard Mo Yan corrected Wizardmon's assumption that possessing Twelve Digicores could make him a god and explained why the Four Holy Beasts were honored as gods.
  • Wizard Mo Yan said the Four Holy Beasts had completed their path while he still had far to go, and Wizardmon concluded that staying alive mattered most.
  • Wizard Mo Yan described how accumulated data and encounters with other intelligent life could change or destabilize Digimon, contributing to conflicts and the Dark Area.
  • Wizard Mo Yan formed an access mark and gave it to Wizardmon, explaining that it opened his Knowledge Treasury.

Ch. 46Knowledge Treasury? No, Just a Folder.

Wizard Mo Yan explained the purpose of databases in the Digital World and gave Wizardmon access to his Knowledge Treasury. He encouraged Wizardmon to study independently, and Wizardmon left determined to train and search for Xiao Ai and A Zhen.

  • Wizard Mo Yan explained how Digimon and factions built databases to preserve knowledge and pass it on.

  • Wizard Mo Yan departed, leaving behind a DigiCore, while Wizardmon vowed to find his friends and learn what had happened to them.

Ch. 47The Twin Angels of Light and Darkness Take Physical Form

Mo Yan’s evolved Wizard Digicore helped Flame Angemon and Dark Angemon take physical form, but the reunion of their DigiCores triggered a much larger transformation. After all twelve DigiCores gathered, they formed a dodecahedron around Mo Yan’s data and began a higher-level unification that was still settling at the chapter’s end.

  • Flame Angemon’s Divine Attendant Form became physical, and Dark Angemon emerged from Mo Yan with its own dark DigiCore.
  • Mo Yan rebuked Witchmon for splitting her DigiCore and experimenting with dark data, while Witchmon defended the procedure by citing SageMon’s ninety-nine-percent success estimate.
  • Flame Angemon and Dark Angemon completed their exchange, returned to DigiCore form, and spiraled into Mo Yan as Witchmon raised a domain barrier and defensive shields.
  • The light and dark DigiCores drew out all eleven other DigiCores, and Mo Yan’s evolved Wizard Digicore joined them to form a twelve-sided polyhedron around his data.
  • Mo Yan’s twelve DigiCores began reorganizing and unifying his data, and the expanding, contracting polyhedron eventually started to settle.

Ch. 48The Second Deva Arrives

Mo Yan emerged from absorbing ancient and mythological data in his Grand Mage Beast form, while Dark Witchmon boldly clung to and teased him. After restoring their surroundings to the park, Mo Yan sensed Sandiramon and teleported with Dark Witchmon to investigate.

  • The dodecahedron shattered, and Mo Yan woke without unleashing the shock wave Dark Witchmon had expected.
  • Mo Yan caught Dark Witchmon reaching toward him, absorbed the surrounding data, and transformed into his Grand Mage Beast form.
  • Dark Witchmon refused to change back and magically clung to Mo Yan's arm as he restored their surroundings to the park.
  • Mo Yan sensed Sandiramon's arrival, invited Dark Witchmon to investigate, and teleported them away.

Ch. 49A Conversation with Sandiramon

Mo Yan and Dark Witchmon used a time-stopping spell to speak privately with Sandiramon, who was fighting Takato Matsuki and the others. After discussing his doubts about Zhuqiaomon’s plans and evolving independently, Mo Yan left with Dark Witchmon, while Sandiramon suspected Mo Yan had noticed something and anticipated future encounters.

  • Mo Yan and Dark Witchmon arrived in the underground tunnel, and Mo Yan used the Four Elements Crystal Ball to freeze most of the battlefield in time.
  • Mo Yan asked Sandiramon whether Zhuqiaomon had gained a similar ability, but Sandiramon praised his god without giving a convincing answer.
  • Sandiramon admitted that the long years had weakened his resolve and that he resented being sent to serve as easy prey for human children and their partner Digimon.
  • Mo Yan sympathized with Sandiramon’s struggle to evolve independently and develop a unique ultimate form.
  • As the spell began to wear off, Mo Yan and Dark Witchmon teleported away after exchanging farewells with Sandiramon.
  • Sandiramon suspected Mo Yan had noticed something and reflected that their future encounters would not be boring.

Ch. 50Sandiramon's Humiliating Ordeal

Takato Matsuki and the others defeated Sandiramon in the underground tunnel, while Mo Yan watched from afar and kept his presence hidden. After Sandiramon vanished, the group decided to ask Mo Yan about the Deva, and Dark Witchmon questioned Mo Yan about Sandiramon's strange behavior.

  • After Mo Yan left, Growlmon and Kyuubimon sensed that another Digimon had been in the tunnel, but they could not identify him.
  • Rika Makino, Li Jianliang, and Takato Matsuki powered up Kyuubimon, Gargomon, and Growlmon, and the three Digimon struck Sandiramon with their strongest attacks.
  • Sandiramon accepted the attacks, claimed that twelve Deva had come to the Human World at their god's command, and warned the children that Ultimate-level power would not be enough.
  • Sandiramon broke apart into data that flowed into Kyuubimon, Gargomon, and Growlmon, and Takato Matsuki led the group toward the emergency exit.
  • Mo Yan and Dark Witchmon appeared on a distant rooftop, where Dark Witchmon asked why Sandiramon had acted strangely.

Ch. 51The crazier, the stronger

Mo Yan and Dark Witchmon discussed how powerful Digimon often behaved strangely before Mo Yan explained that Sandiramon’s defeat had been arranged to help three children and their partner Digimon grow stronger. Dark Witchmon questioned relying on human power for evolution, leaving her convinced that Digimon should grow through their own efforts.

  • Mo Yan and Dark Witchmon joked that the Digital World’s strongest beings were unusually strange, and Dark Witchmon complained about Teacher SageMon’s habits.
  • Dark Witchmon tried to kiss Mo Yan, but he stayed upright and told her that Sandiramon had left.
  • Dark Witchmon sensed Sandiramon’s defeat and noticed that the scattered data was too little for a Holy Beast Digimon.
  • Mo Yan explained that Sandiramon’s body had been controlled by Sandiramon’s consciousness but contained only part of Sandiramon’s data combined with data from Lord Zhuqiaomon.
  • Dark Witchmon argued that Digimon should rely on their own growth rather than human power to evolve, because outside power could weaken their foundations.

Ch. 52The Digital World Had More Than Evolution-It Had Friendships and Investments

Mo Yan warned Dark Witchmon that her light-and-dark talents had attracted the attention of the wills of both worlds and urged her to return to Witchelny. She left through his teleportation circle, while Mo Yan sensed that the Twelve Digicores were already drawing pressure from those wills.

  • Mo Yan argued that human power could bring Digimon new possibilities but would compromise their autonomy, and Dark Witchmon said she still looked down on it.
  • Mo Yan told Dark Witchmon that her rare combination of light and darkness could draw the wills of both worlds, so she should return to Witchelny under SageMon and the others’ protection.
  • Mo Yan explained that powerful beings had supported and influenced him because of his Twelve Digicores, and Dark Witchmon asked whether he would be all right.
  • Mo Yan reassured Dark Witchmon and joked that he could offer the wills a DigiCore if necessary, then she decided to return to the Digital World.
  • Mo Yan sent Dark Witchmon through a teleportation circle to Witchelny and sensed the wills urging him through his Twelve Digicores.

Ch. 53"New Digimon Development Project"

Mo Yan contacted SageMon from a digital space to discuss their plan to draw out the combined will of the Human World and Digital World and choose its next DigiCore. SageMon sent him BloomLordmon’s initial data, leaving Mo Yan with a possible direction for the project.

  • Mo Yan entered a digital space between the Human World and the Digital World and used his Twelve Digicores to send SageMon a concealed signal.
  • SageMon and Mo Yan confirmed that their plan had drawn out the combined will of the two worlds, and Mo Yan criticized SageMon for using Witchmon in the painful DigiCore-splitting experiment.
  • SageMon defended the experiment, explaining that Witchmon’s light and dark powers helped complete their plan after she ruined his magic experiment.
  • Mo Yan listed the five DigiCore-to-Digimon transformations already completed and asked SageMon which of the remaining Digicores the combined will should use next.
  • SageMon told Mo Yan that TyrantKabuterimon had given him BloomLordmon’s initial data and transmitted it to him.

Ch. 54A Leomon Named "Caesar"

Mo Yan received BloomLordmon’s data and agreed to help perfect its unusual evolution, then learned from SageMon about a reincarnated Leomon named Caesar whose protected data might hold the key to reaching the Infinite Dimensions. SageMon said new plans would be discussed after Mo Yan met Qinglongmon and the others, leaving Mo Yan facing the prospect of an unknown new evolution.

  • Mo Yan examined BloomLordmon’s complex data, and SageMon explained that TyrantKabuterimon wanted him to perfect its evolution.
  • Mo Yan agreed to give the DigiCore carrying BloomLordmon’s data to the Two Worlds’ United Will, which had chosen a human girl to help complete the evolution.
  • SageMon told Mo Yan that he had discovered a Leomon named Caesar, whose data was protected by a power of space and time and who had reincarnated from another world.
  • SageMon explained that the group believed Caesar could be the key to leaving the Digital World and entering the Infinite Dimensions.
  • Mo Yan realized SageMon wanted him involved in a new plan, which would be decided after he met Qinglongmon and the others.
  • SageMon described the unknown as a chance for Digimon at their pinnacle to begin a new evolution, while Mo Yan questioned whether leaving the Digital World was wise.

Ch. 55Yggdrasill's grand undertaking

Mo Yan learned that Yggdrasill had agreed to adjust time across the Digital Worlds, giving him and SageMon’s allies more time to complete their plans. After SageMon ended their call, Mo Yan prepared to use the digital space to create Digimon representing insects and plants.

  • Mo Yan asked SageMon whether he had enough time to finish his remaining tasks in the Human World and retrieve the DigiCore sent to a Human Little Girl.
  • SageMon explained that Yggdrasill would adjust the flow of time between the Digital Worlds to give them ample time.
  • SageMon said Alphamon would protect Yggdrasill while the other twelve Royal Knights suppressed any conflicts.
  • Mo Yan accepted the plan, and SageMon ended the call before the Two Worlds' United Will could be kept waiting.
  • Mo Yan noted his thoughts about data affecting Digimon personalities, then called over the DigiCore containing his insect and plant data to begin shaping new Digimon.

Ch. 56The Birth of a New Digimon Form

Mo Yan created a white-and-green Digi-Egg using BloomLordmon's data as its foundation and his own core data and life force. After the Two Worlds' United Will chose a girl to partner with it, Mo Yan obtained D-Ark specifications and looked toward her location.

  • Mo Yan built a new DigiCore around BloomLordmon's data, blending in his own core data and designing theoretical forms from Ultimate down to Rookie.
  • Mo Yan infused the developing Digi-Egg with his life force and completed a white egg with green markings, then recalled his eleven DigiCores and returned to the Human World.
  • The Two Worlds' United Will inspected the Digi-Egg, accepted it as proof of Mo Yan's sincerity, and gave him the coordinates and details of the chosen girl.
  • Mo Yan asked to retain control over summoning a D-Ark, and the Two Worlds' United Will gave him data containing the device's specifications.
  • Mo Yan studied the D-Ark data and looked east toward the girl chosen to become the Digi-Egg's partner.

Ch. 57Alice's adventures

Alice McCoy remembered her time in the Digital World and her bond with Dobermon before discovering a D-Ark in her room. The device produced a Digi-Egg, which hatched into a small being and formed a new connection with Alice.

  • Alice woke at her grandfather Rob McCoy’s urging and wondered how Dobermon was doing.
  • The chapter recounted how Alice had been stranded in the Digital World, cared for by Gazimon, and eventually returned to the Human World.
  • Alice found a D-Ark by her window, and it projected a white Digi-Egg with green markings onto her desk.
  • Alice touched the Digi-Egg as the D-Ark sent mysterious power into her, creating a connection between them.
  • A cute little being appeared before Alice and spoke to her.

Ch. 58Alice and Wormmon

Alice officially bonded with Wormmon, who emerged from her D-Ark and joined her for breakfast with Alice and Rob McCoy. Watching them from outside, Mo Yan was satisfied that Wormmon had developed his own consciousness and then prepared to fulfill his agreement with Machinedramon.

  • Wormmon appeared from Alice’s D-Ark, introduced himself, and confirmed his Digimon data as Alice read it aloud.
  • Alice asked whether Wormmon was her partner, then welcomed him warmly despite wishing her partner had been Dobermon.
  • Rob McCoy entered Alice’s room, met Wormmon, and later watched him eat while marveling at how far Digimon had developed.
  • Wormmon reminded Alice and Rob McCoy to eat, and the three of them shared breakfast.
  • Mo Yan watched from outside, explained why he had left out his memories when creating Wormmon, and turned his attention west to fulfill his agreement with Machinedramon.
