Arc 9The Digi-Eggs and Summer Camp
Yggdrasill’s DigiSoul reshaped the Digital World as Mo Yan, Lucemon, and the others prepared for changes ahead. Genai and his allies built the children’s Digi-Eggs, Devimon and Cerberumon developed their domains and operations, and the eight children were drawn into the Digital World at summer camp.
- Omnimon X used All Delete on the Crystal Ball, removing X Antibody data and installing Yggdrasill’s revised DigiSoul program throughout the restored, expanded Digital World, where Mo Yan and the Royal Knights tested their own versions in battle.
- Lucemon recognized that DigiSoul offered a way to remove the D-Reaper’s darkness but meant abandoning her pursuit of Virtue Authority, so she copied the program, set her allies to work on related research, and entered dormancy.
- Parrotmon’s scans alerted Sassumusmon and his allies to the Yagami siblings, and Ancient Species Agumon evolved into Ancient Greymon before a Digital Gate pulled both combatants from Hikarigaoka.
- Sassumusmon, Cerberumon, and Myotismon planned trials for the chosen children and arranged for the Iron Empire to modify the sleeping Ancient Greymon into Machinedramon without backdoor programs.
- Homeostasis revealed that Hikari’s power came from the Dark Ocean and borrowed BloomLordmon’s DigiCore, allowing him to create a ninth Digi-Egg to absorb human Spiritual Power and support the Digivice project.
- Genai, Sassumusmon, and BloomLordmon modified and tested Digi-Egg combinations for the children, linking them to their partners, Crests, and Digivices while addressing possible evolution problems and Ken’s circumstances.
- Devimon divided an island into eight domains with Mountain Barriers and Soundbirdmon overseers, while Cerberumon gathered Demon Beast Digimon and forced captives to build nine pyramids for data refinement and experiments.
- Genai reconnected the Human World and Digital World and arranged for eight children to attend summer camp, and a rainbow waterfall swept them away, and Taichi promised to protect Ken as the children introduced themselves.
