"Let's go take a look," Situ Yuntian said with a frown.

When he led the three elders to the entrance, they only saw several patrolling disciples lying in pools of blood, with the body of Coach Lou nearby.

It seemed they had been killed with a single sword strike, the wounds on their necks very narrow.

"May I ask why esteemed Sword Sect prodigies have come to my Situ Family?" Situ Yuntian looked at Xu Zimo and asked.

"Who are you?" Xu Zimo said casually.

"I am the head of the Situ Family, Situ Yuntian."

"I can testify. I'm from the White Crane Mercenary Group in Zhouque City. This afternoon, your Situ Family's head steward found our leader and asked him to help kill a few people," Xiao Guizi said urgently from the side.

He was sniffling and crying, his acting as over-the-top as it could get.

"And you are?" Situ Yuntian asked, looking at Xiao Guizi.

"I'm the new subordinate of our leader, Xiao Baihe," Xiao Guizi replied.

"Please don't rush, esteemed sirs. Perhaps there's some misunderstanding," Situ Yuntian pondered for a moment and then said to a servant beside him, "Go call Hai Dafu here."

The servant hurried away, and before long, a stout, overweight man waddled over.

Because he was so fat, he had to gasp for breath after just a few steps.

"It's him!" Xiao Guizi, with sharp eyes, immediately pointed at the fat man and shouted.

Hai Dafu walked up to Situ Yuntian and asked respectfully, "Family Head, do you need something from me?"

"I ask you, did you hire people to assassinate the prodigies of our Sacred Sect?" Situ Yuntian asked.

"Family Head, please investigate. Even if you gave me a hundred more guts, I wouldn't dare," Hai Dafu quickly knelt down, also sniffling and crying, his acting far superior to Xiao Guizi's.

"Esteemed sirs, do you see? Perhaps there really is a misunderstanding," Situ Yuntian turned to look at Xu Zimo and said. "Also, esteemed sirs, could you please show me proof of your Sacred Sect disciple status? It's not that I doubt you, but it's better to be safe."

"I have my inner disciple token here," Xiao Guizi quickly stepped forward and placed his token in front of Situ Yuntian.

"Does it have to be this realistic?" Situ Yuntian felt like he'd been hit by a truck. "Weren't you just saying you were from the White Crane Mercenary Group? How did you suddenly transform into an inner disciple of the Sacred Sect?"

But it was precisely this ambiguity that made Situ Yuntian's situation tricky. If the other party was truly an inner disciple of the True Martial Sacred Sect, and even an inner disciple was just running errands, then how astonishing could this young man's true identity be?

"Yes, yes," the elders beside him all breathed a sigh of relief and quickly chimed in.

"Since the esteemed prodigies of the Sacred Sect have come to my Situ Family, if you don't mind, I'll have someone prepare a banquet?" Situ Yuntian asked with a smile.

"I have no objections," Xu Zimo smiled and followed Situ Yuntian into the main hall.

Xu Zimo realized that many people liked to use meals to build relationships.

However, the Situ Family also gave Xu Zimo some ideas. Perhaps his plan to establish a force could be put into action earlier. Taking over the Situ Family and using it as a springboard would be a good opportunity.

He tapped the windowsill three times with his right hand and said with a smile, "Hei Shisan, come out!"

From behind him, a shadowy figure suddenly emerged without warning.
