"Let's go. Let's keep looking up ahead."
Li Qiuzhi had no intention of using his Experience Points yet. He did not know what dangers lay ahead, so he could save them to improve specific skills as needed.
Or he could raise his level to restore his physical condition or something.
"Mm. I wonder what's in there. The temperature here feels like standing in the sun at noon in summer."
Xingqiu drew out wisps of moisture to surround them and cool them down.
"It's probably some really powerful Pyro treasure, just like those Adventurers said."
Paimon followed behind Lumine and offered her guess.
"They never came in to look. Maybe it's a pool of lava bubbling up from underground." Lumine shook her head, indicating that guessing was pointless before they saw the actual situation.
That would keep their expectations from getting too high, only to leave them even more disappointed.
"A Whopperflower ran in ahead, and a whole swarm of Flame-Eating Bats followed it. If you ask me, it could be a Monster lair."
As far as Li Qiuzhi remembered, the only place in Liyue with an environment this hot seemed to be the Pyro Regisvine's lair.
However, he vaguely remembered that the exact location of that Boss-level Monster in the game was also somewhere near Tianqiu Valley, so this really could be it.
"Li Qiuzhi has a point. Let's be careful."
Xingqiu was more inclined to agree with him.
They continued forward cautiously. After traveling a few dozen meters, they saw a downward slope, and the passage ahead was lit a bright red.
There seemed to be a light source farther ahead.
"My Elemental Power consumption has increased. That means it's extremely hot here. Going by that, the source of the cave's heat is probably just ahead."
Xingqiu suddenly spoke.
