The Frostarm Lawachurl in particular-someone had actually dared launch a sneak attack right in front of it! If it let this slide, what would become of its authority?
How would it recruit underlings in the future?
And so, without even checking whether they had spotted their attackers, the Hilichurl monsters charged straight along the arrows' trajectory.
They were monsters that survived in the harsh wilderness, after all, and had plenty of fighting instinct. They were charging directly toward Li Qiuzhi and the others' hiding place.

While the Frostarm Lawachurl was also distracted by Baron Bunny, he charged straight at it with his Claymore.
A distance of a few dozen meters was practically nothing to Li Qiuzhi.
The instant he exerted himself, his body appeared above the Frostarm Lawachurl's face as though the distance between them did not exist.
He used neither Elemental Power nor Sword Intent.
He simply swung his Claymore down hard at the Frostarm Lawachurl's head with brute force.
