The portal had already been set up, but The Doctor, who had yet to leave, gazed toward the place where the Evil Dragon had been resurrected.
He had never imagined that the vicious Evil Dragon would not fight those people and would actually leave with them!
That left him rather upset.
The results of all his hard work had been stolen just like that, without giving him anything in return. How could he not be furious?
But he was not foolish enough to go and trouble those people again. He could not beat so many of them to begin with, and now they had an Evil Dragon even stronger than him. He stood even less of a chance.
Still, that was fine. He could settle the score the next time an opportunity arose.
As a scholar, patience was the one thing he never lacked.

The Doctor glanced at the Fatui soldiers behind him, then stepped through the portal first.
