Dressed in a green-and-white dress, Katheryne stood behind the counter as always, handling commissions for the adventurers.
She looked as gentle and gracious as ever.
Only after the adventurer ahead of them accepted a commission and left did Li Qiuzhi and the others approach.
"Oh my, if it isn't our famous Legendary Adventurer. How did you find the time to visit me again?"
Katheryne teased him.
"Miss Katheryne, please don't tease me. No matter how capable an adventurer is, he still has to come to you for commissions."
Li Qiuzhi awkwardly rubbed the side of his face.
"Hehe, what sort of commission would you like today, then?" Katheryne asked, covering her mouth with a soft laugh.
"Uh, are there any commissions involving the Treasure Hoarders? If not, escorting a merchant caravan would work too."
Li Qiuzhi gave it some thought before answering.
"The Treasure Hoarders? The Knights of Favonius have been cracking down on them quite heavily lately, so we haven't had any commissions to arrest or drive them away in quite a while.
"We do have caravan escort commissions, but most are for tomorrow or the following few days. Today's caravans have either already departed or already been taken by an Adventuring Team."
Katheryne shook her head lightly.
"I see... Nothing we can do, then." Li Qiuzhi didn't absolutely have to accept a commission. It would simply let him earn a commission fee along the way.
Since that wouldn't work, accepting a few commissions to clear out monsters would do.
Then they could head into the wilderness and see whether they could run into the Treasure Hoarders. With Bennett's unlucky constitution, there ought to be some chance of encountering trouble.
