• Li Qiuzhi reflected that Stormterror had recently awakened and guessed that Lumine would soon appear, hoping to gain her Friendship and learn about traveling between worlds.

Oz warned that beasts and monsters might also seek refuge there, while Bennett experienced another bout of bad luck in Mondstadt and hoped to adventure with Li Qiuzhi again.

• Li Qiuzhi discovered that his Elemental Potions and other backpack supplies had been ruined, and Fischl offered him a Mist Flower that he declined for now.
• Li Qiuzhi, Fischl, Ellin, and Oz found a violent storm outside the cave and retreated deeper inside to warm themselves by three Bonfire Stands.

A storm drove monsters into a cave where Li Qiuzhi, Fischl, and Ellin had taken shelter. After Li Qiuzhi killed a giant Wild Forest Boar, hostile Hilichurls followed some weakened Pyro Slimes into the cave, and the fight began with Li Qiuzhi sneaking behind their Shamans.

• Fischl, Li Qiuzhi, and Ellin waited for their rain-soaked clothes to dry by the Bonfire Stands.
• A giant Wild Forest Boar charged into the cave, but Li Qiuzhi shot it down and gained 65 Experience.
• Several weakened Small Pyro Slimes fled into the cave, followed by Hilichurls led by a Blazing Axe Mitachurl and two Hilichurl Shamans.

• Li Qiuzhi ambushed and killed the unshielded Cryo Abyss Mage, but the Hydro Abyss Mage noticed him and attacked.
• Fischl joined Li Qiuzhi and used Oz's lightning to weaken the Hydro shield, but the Hydro Abyss Mage revealed that its water-ball attacks had been a trap.

• Stormterror gathered a Dragon Breath attack above Mondstadt City, while Amber's Pyro arrow failed to pierce its winds.
• Li Qiuzhi asked Amber to imbue his arrow with Pyro, and he struck one of Stormterror's Poison Spikes, disrupting its Dragon Breath.
