"Is this about Stormterror?"
Paimon, who wore a Golden Crown on her head, held her hands behind her back and asked with confusion in her starry eyes.
"That's right."
Acting Grand Master Jean rose from her chair. White, close-fitting trousers hugged her long legs, revealing the distinct contours and indentations around her knees.
She stepped out in her equally white tall boots and continued:
"Through Lisa's magical reconnaissance, we have located the source of the power behind the hurricane enveloping Mondstadt!"
"The source of its power?" Lumine folded her arms, resting her not particularly full chest on them. Her gaze lowered slightly to the gold pattern over Acting Grand Master Jean's lower abdomen, which matched those on Lisa and Amber beside her, and she asked in some confusion, "Wasn't Stormterror the one who stirred up the Wind Disaster? How could there be another source of power?"
Kaeya leaned against the corner of a long rectangular table nearby and spread his hands as he explained:
"You're not from Mondstadt, so you probably don't know. Stormterror was once a familiar of the Anemo Archon and one of the Four Winds. Several hundred years ago, he was injured fighting an Evil Dragon and fell into slumber.
"He only woke up recently and has less than a tenth of his former strength. It seems his injuries haven't fully healed, either. Stirring up a hurricane powerful enough to engulf Mondstadt City would be very difficult for him."
Lisa, who wore a Pointed Witch Hat, stroked the long chestnut hair at the side of her head and nodded as she supplied the answer:
"Kaeya is right. Stormterror was only able to accomplish this by using the residual power in the abandoned temples of the Four Winds."
"I see." Li Qiuzhi put on a look of realization.
