Lingchen warned Mei that Honkai Disease would spread worldwide, then jumped through time and space to the Fourth Honkai Eruption and helped prepare for its aftermath. The eruption ended quickly with Kevin’s intervention, and Mei’s team began studying the Herrscher Core to create a Divine Key.

He began the Chimera Project with Kevin, whose unstable transformation ended with Mei stopping his attack using power borrowed from Lingchen.
