So, despite having no experience with intimate contact with boys, March 7th stopped Dan Heng and took matters into her own hands, carrying out the great task of saving a life from the brink of death.

[Host's shameless behavior detected. Path of Elation points increased by 200.]

The cold, mechanical female voice sounded beside Lin Feng's ear, giving his spirits a lift.

Huh? More points? Nice... all that scheming paid off!

If I'd known the Path of Elation was this easy, why the hell did I pick those other Paths? What a complete waste of my life...

With that thought in mind, the newly awakened Lin Feng was already brewing an even more wicked plan.

"Hey, hey? Can you hear me? Do you remember your name?"

A slender hand waved before his eyes. March 7th leaned forward slightly, a faint smile on her face, as lovely and warm as a flower blooming in the sunlight.

His gaze lifted slightly, and through the neckline of her short white top, Lin Feng could even make out the faint curves of her breasts.

"Lin... Lin Feng."

After a brief moment of distraction, Lin Feng withdrew his admiring gaze, rubbed his head, and slowly answered.

"Lin Lin Feng? What a strange name!"

"It's Lin Feng!"

"Okay... got it!"

March 7th rubbed her head, looking a little sheepish and embarrassed.

"Hello, Lin Feng. I'm Dan Heng, and she's March 7th."

"This space station was attacked by the Antimatter Legion. Station Master Asta asked us to come here to help..."

The handsome man in a teal-and-white coat stepped forward and gave a slight nod as he explained the situation to Lin Feng.

Although Lin Feng already knew what would happen next, he still pretended to be bewildered and quietly listened to Dan Heng's explanation. Only by doing so could he avoid arousing their suspicions.

"Thanks for what you did earlier."

Lin Feng looked at the girl with long pink hair, his expression utterly sincere.

"What are you thanking me for?"

March 7th paused, puzzled.

"For giving me mouth-to-mouth."

"If you hadn't helped me, I'd probably be dead by now..."

Lin Feng spoke earnestly, a warm smile on his face.

"Ahem... so that's what you meant."

"Don't worry about it. As a trailblazer, saving lives is just a little thing..."

Realizing what Lin Feng meant, March 7th clenched her hands tightly, a blush spreading across her fair cheeks.

Although Little March seemed carefree, cheerful, and easygoing, this had been her first time having such intimate contact with a boy. Remembering the strange flutter in her heart earlier, she was too shy even to raise her head.

Ever since her companions aboard the Astral Express had rescued her, the only men she had been close to were Welt Yang and Dan Heng.

Uncle Yang went without saying. Mature, steady, and always serious, he was someone March 7th regarded as an elder.

As for Dan Heng, he was certainly handsome, but he always wore an icy expression.

Except when he went out on missions, Dan Heng always shut himself away in the Data Bank, researching who knew what.

So Lin Feng held a special significance for March 7th.

After all, although the mouth-to-mouth had been meant to save his life, it was hardly any different from a kiss.

At that moment, March 7th felt a little regretful. Why had she been so impulsive earlier and given away her first kiss just like that?

"This isn't the place to talk. Lin Feng, come with March 7th and me to the Central Spire!"

Watching the two gaze into each other's eyes, Dan Heng spoke with a serious expression.

"Lin Feng... just follow me. Don't worry! Miss March 7th is pretty amazing, you know. I'll keep you safe!"

The pink-haired girl took down the metal composite longbow hanging behind her, looking confident and pleased with herself.

What a good girl...

Always so bright and cheerful, so full of life and energy...

And that hair color... who could say no to an Intertwined Fate come to life?

Looking at the bubbly pink-haired girl before him, Lin Feng felt a surge of affection.

"Don't worry... I can protect myself a little."

As he spoke, Lin Feng walked a dozen or so meters and picked up a silver metal baseball bat from the floor.

Gripping the weapon with both hands, he skillfully swung it through several sharp arcs, leaving afterimages in its wake. A confident smile spread across his face.

Having gone through six full Path simulations, he was very familiar with handling the weapon, even if he couldn't claim complete mastery.

He might struggle against something as huge as the Doomsday Beast, but dealing with a few small fry was no problem at all.

"Hmm? Nice moves. Lin Feng, are you a member of the Herta Space Station Security Department?"

Dan Heng folded his arms across his chest, his sharp brows drawing together slightly as interest showed on his face.

"No... I just appeared here somehow. I can't remember anything that happened before that!"

"I see."

Dan Heng nodded silently. Though he still had a few questions, he chose not to press further.

Everyone had their own secrets. As long as he could be sure Lin Feng wasn't an enemy, he wouldn't pry.

Besides, if Lin Feng had some strength, their mission would go much more smoothly.

"Yay! That means we can fight side by side, Lin Feng!"

Beaming with delight, the pink-haired girl stepped forward, took Lin Feng's hand, and headed toward the far end of the cabin.

Soon, the three encountered an Antimatter Legion squad.

It consisted of three gray-black mechanical humanoids, each with a thermal ray weapon mounted on its left arm and an alloy blade held in its right hand.

"Take this!"

With a sharp cry, the pink-haired girl drew her bow and nocked an arrow. Ice-blue mist gathered, coating the arrow in frost.

She released the string, sending the ice arrow whistling through the air and straight through a Voidranger soldier's chest. Blue frost burst outward, freezing it into a massive block of ice.

The other two Voidranger soldiers reacted instantly. The kinetic boosters on their backs ignited, and they charged at March 7th with incredible speed, sweeping their alloy blades toward her.

"March 7th, look out!"

Dan Heng swept his simple teal spear outward, sending one Voidranger soldier flying.

But one slipped through and rushed right up to March 7th.

March 7th tried to draw her bow and nock another arrow, but there was no time. Fear flickered across her pretty face.

Just then, Lin Feng's tall, lean figure stepped in front of March 7th, his baseball bat tracing a powerful arc.

Bang! A thunderous impact rang out amid a shower of dazzling sparks. The vicious swing struck the Voidranger soldier's head, knocking it clean off, and its heavy body crashed to the floor.

Meanwhile, Dan Heng's spear traced a teal afterimage and pierced straight through the last Voidranger's chest.
