Asaba Kotone teleported straight to Quanxi's home.
He could sense that Kishibe was at Quanxi's home.
Sure enough, when Asaba Kotone teleported over, Quanxi and Kishibe were drinking tea and chatting on the balcony. Anyone who didn't know better might have thought they were an old married couple.
Asaba Kotone had also noticed that ever since Quanxi came to Tokyo, Japan, she occasionally got together with Kishibe. The location varied: sometimes at Quanxi's home, sometimes at Kishibe's, and sometimes at leisure spots like cafés.
But they had never done anything out of line. It looked entirely like old friends getting together.
Asaba Kotone figured Kishibe had already come to terms with it. With the barrier between humans and Weapon Humans, whether it was friendship or familial affection no longer mattered-or perhaps it had already transcended both friendship and familial affection.
"A trip to Okinawa Island, just to take a break and have some fun. Are you two planning to come?"
Asaba Kotone suddenly appeared on the balcony, his voice coming just as abruptly.
Neither Kishibe nor Quanxi was so easily startled, though.
"I think Fang Rou is the one you should really ask. If she wants to go, I'll go."
Quanxi said.
Quanxi was now like Fang Rou's guardian, going almost everywhere Fang Rou went.
"I'm fine either way. I can drink wherever I am."
Kishibe said casually.
"You can't go anywhere without alcohol. Careful you don't drink your brain dull."
Quanxi remarked flatly.
"All right, I'll go ask Fang Rou."
Bai Ye then went to ask Fang Rou.
The result was entirely as expected. Fang Rou wanted to go have fun at the beach, of course.
And so everyone happily agreed.
