He had always felt that the combat power system for these Devil Hunters and Devils was far too vague. Devils were actually not so bad, since their names allowed for a rough assessment.
"How would we do that?"

"It's simple. Just as an example: D, C, B, A, S, SS, SSS. Rank them from weakest to strongest like that."
Asaba Kotone said, "The point isn't what we call these ranks, but what combat power standards each rank corresponds to. If we really want a detailed ranking system, we'll need to establish the combat power standards for each rank."
"It would be a bit of a hassle, but there would be quite a few benefits too. It would let us handle the finer details better. For example, Private Devil Hunters would only qualify for recruitment into Public Safety once their combat power reached B rank. That would make the standard much clearer than before."
"It would also motivate everyone. There will always be plenty of people who want their combat power rating to reach A rank, S rank, or even higher. Oh, and we could differentiate the salaries and benefits for each rank too."
